Well That's Interesting, chapter 8

*Tre's P.O.V.*
I walked up the stairs the evening before I had to leave for tour. As I passed Angel's room I heard noise coming from inside. I carefully open the door to see her in an uneasy sleep. She's tossing and turning and she let out a moan of pain. I hurry over to her bed and wake her up gently.
"Angel, Angel, wake up." I say as I put my hand on her arm.
"Tre!" she says out of breath.
"Are you okay?"
"Umm, I had a nightmare." She said rubbing her head. "I think I'll just get something to drink before I go back to sleep."
"Okay." I say as she slides out of bed. We head down to the kitchen and I pour her a glass of water.
"Thanks." She says as she puts the glass to her delicate lips.
"So what happened?" I ask as we sit at the kitchen counter. "In your dream."
"I can't remember, I never remember my dreams." She says rubbing her forehead, "I just wake up scared, angry or happy, depending on the dream."
"You ever wake up horny?" I tease.
"Perv." She says laughing lightly. She finishes off her glass of water and we head back upstairs. "And yes, I do wake up horny upon occasion."
"I knew it!"

We stop in front of her bedroom and I kiss her lips.
"Goodnight." I say as I continue down the hall to my room.
"Tre." She says, I turn around to look at her. "Can you stay with me?"
"Sure." I say as I walk up to her. I can tell she just wants my company, not Tre squad action. She slips into bed and I slide in next to her. I wrap my arms around her waist.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah." She says as she shifts her body in my arms. I kiss the back of her neck gently before sleep overtakes us.

I wake up the next morning and it takes me a few seconds for me to remember where I am. Angel seems to be missing, but a few seconds later she slips back into bed, I guess she didn't realize I'm awake.
"Morning." I say as I wrap my arms around her.
"Morning." She says as she moves her head to kiss me, her breath smelt minty. I guess she brushed her teeth after throwing up. "What time do you leave?"
"Sometime around noon." I say as I tighten my grip around her, "I want you to meet my band."
"Alright, are they all as sexy as you?" she asks jokingly.
"Sadly no. I'm the sexy one." I say laughing.
"That's too bad." She says as she rests her head on my chest. The phone on the night stand starts ringing and I reach over and pick it up.

"Hey Tre."
"Hey Bill." I mumble.
"So is the breakfast thing still on?"
"Uh yeah, what time is it." I ask as I rub my eyes.
"Umm hold on let me check . . . . .9:30."
"Ahh okay, I'll meet you guys in an hour."
"Do we bring the ladies?"
"Yeah. See you later." I say as I hang up the phone. I turn to look at Angel.

"Do you want to go for breakfast?"
"Yeah sure." She says as she gets up, "I'll just shower now."

I heard the shower starting in the next room. I lay there for a while contemplating whether or not to join her in the shower, our whole arrangement confuses the living hell out of me. Are we together, are we just friends, are we friends with benefits I wish someone would write Dating Someone You Knocked Up on the Night You Met for Dummies so it could just explain everything to me. I decide to play it safe and shower in my own washroom, all by myself.

After showering, getting dressed and prettifying my hair, I strut downstairs to find Angel sitting on the sofa reading a magazine.
"Hey." She says looking up. "You look good."
"Why thank you." I say putting on a James Bond sort of smile, "You look smoking yourself."
"Thanks." She says laughing, "No one's ever called me smoking before."
"Are you ready to go?" I ask as I grab my keys off the table I left them on the night before.
"Yup." She says as she gets off the sofa gracefully as she places the magazine on the coffee table.

We drive down to this little restaurant/café that Mike insisted go to because "They have good coffee." I pull into a parking space across from the restaurant.
"Ready?" I ask her, she looked a little uneasy.
"Umm yeah." She says stepping out of the car.
"Don't worry, they'll love you." she smiled at me as we crossed the street. We entered the restaurant and Mike and Brittany were already there with coffees in front of them.
"Mike, Britt, this is Angel." I say as we near the table.
"Hi," Mike says as he stands up and shakes her hand, "Tre talks fondly about you."
"Really?" she says eyeing me. As we're about to take our seats Billie and Adrienne enter.
"So you're the woman Tre knocked up." Billie says obnoxiously.
"Yes I am, and who the fuck are you?!" she knew exactly who he was.
"Billie Joe Armstrong, the eye candy of Green Day."
"I beg to differ." She says smugly as Billie's jaw drops.
"She's got spunk." Billie mumbles as he sits down with Adie.
"I'm Adie." She says shaking Angel's hand.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Angel." She says politely.
"I think she likes you better." Billie mumbles to his wife childishly.

After eating breakfast Angel and I excuse ourselves. I drive her to The Mocha Corner and we both get out of the car.
"I'll see you in a month." I say as I cup her elbows in my hands.
"Yeah." She says softly.
"I'll call you when I get there." I say as my lips meet hers for a long passionate kiss, our first since the night we met.

*Angel's P.O.V.*
Our lips parted and I walked into my café. I could've stayed there, lips locked all day if breathing wasn't a necessity.
"Hiya Angie." Kyle says as he pours a cup of coffee for a customer.
"Hey Kyle, I'm going to work on some paper work and inventory today." I say casually. I still haven't told anyone at work that I'm pregnant, when the smells become too much for me I just volunteer to do paperwork and other non-scented work.

"Angie, is every thing okay?" Marcy asks as she puts her purse in the corner of the back room.
"Yeah, why?"
"Well usually you like being up front; working the floor you know doing your thing." Marcy says as her hands flail, she was such a teenager sometimes and not the funny immature way, in the annoying way. "And now you always rush to do paperwork."
"Yeah well, you know. I just haven't felt up to working up front lately." I say shrugging as I flip thorough some bills, "Besides, I thought you hated doing the paperwork."
"I do, it's just I don't know." She mumbles as she digs through her purse. "Hey check out this new perfume I bought." She shoves the bottle under my nose.
"For fuck's sake, are you trying to make me puke." I say as I pull away and crouch over.
"What? It's not that bad." She says smelling it, "Dear god, you're pregnant."
"Yeah." I say slowly as I start to turn red.
"Who's the father, I didn't know you were seeing someone, how long have you known?"
"His name's Tre, I am seeing someone, one month." I say trying to get her to leave.
"This is a big deal, are you going to sell back your share of the café or . . . . . ."
"I don't know." I mumble. "Now if you don't mind, I'd much rather get back to doing this paperwork."
"Fine suit yourself." She says as she leaves to the front of the cafe. I knew she was going to go blab to Kyle.
