It was like usual for Green Day. Billie, Mike, and Tre were on tour promoting their "American Idiot" album. It was November 8, 2004 in Chicago, IL. Mike and Tre were at the concert hall setting up for the show. Something seemed unusual. They just couldn't put their finger on it.

AT THE CONCERT HALL
They finally figured it out.
"Hey, have you seen Billie," Mike asked with concern.
"No I haven't seen Billie," Tre replied with the same concern.
It wasn't like Billie to be late for the show. He knew how much it meant to them, and the fans.
***
They couldn't just sit there and do nothing. There had to be something they could do.
"I was thinking... Maybe we should fill a missing person's report," Tre suggested.
"I think that would be a good thing to do," Mike replied.
With both agreeing on filling a missing person's report, they called the police to fill one.
***
ONE HOUR LATER
It was one hour later, and no sign of Billie. Just the detective arrived at the concert hall.
"Can I help you," Mike asked.
"Yes. Are you the ones that called to fill a missing person's report?" asked Detective Rylie.
"Yes we are," Mike replied
"Ok. Do you have a recent picture of the person who you wish to fill this report for?" Detective Rylie asked.
"Yes," Mike replied.
He handed the detective the picture with hopes that Billie would still be alive, and come back soon.
"What is the person's name," Detective Rylie asked.
"The person's name is Billie Joe Armstrong," replied Mike.
"When was the last time you spoke or saw Billie," Detective Rylie questioned.
"Earlier this morning," Mike answered.
"Ok. That's all for now. If I have any more questions, I'' be sure to call you," Detective Rylie said.
"Thanks for your help," Mike replied.
The detective walked away. Mike hoped Billie was ok. Where could Billie have gone? Why did he leave without saying anything? That makes no sense.
