"What An Asshole You Are Billie"-sequal to "you may not see me but im always with you Adrienne", chapter 3
*Still in Tre's P.O.V*
"Oh hey Tre!" Adrienne said cheerily, as she noticed my presence in the room.
"Hi" I replied, watching her scurry around the kitchen, grabbing pans and jars from the cupboards.
"So what are you doing up here?" she asked me.
"Just wanted to see if I could help that's all" I said, leaning against the surface. Adrienne stopped dead, and just stared at me. "What?" I ask her, puzzled.
"Tre, you couldn't cook for your life, why would you want to try now?" she asks, a smile across her face.
"Well, I was getting bored down there, and you could teach me couldn't you?" I ask hopefully.
"Erm, no offence but it would take me a life time to teach you how to cook, but I suppose you could stir that sauce" She said, gesturing towards a saucepan on the cooker.
"Ok" I said shrugging, taking a spoon and stirring. "How long do I have to stir it for?" I ask.
"Well, until it starts to bubble slightly on the top" she said, her voice slightly muffled. I turn around to see why her voice sounded strange and I'm met with, I have to say, a rather nice ass sticking in the air. Adrienne was bent down, struggling to get some plates out from the bottom cupboard.
"You want any help?" I ask, turning round but catching the spoon on the edge of the saucepan, causing it to tumble off the cooker. Adrienne gasps, and I watch as the hot pan falls of the edge and crashes onto the floor, the sauce inside splattering the ground.
"Oh my god Adie I'm so sorry!" I say, putting my hand over my mouth in shock. She just stands there, laughing away.
"It's not funny!" I say.
"It is, I told you, you can't cook for your life, and I give you one simple task and you end up flinging sauce all over the room!" she says, laughing. I start to see the funny side, and burst out laughing.
"I'm never coming near the kitchen again!" I say.
"Tre that means no beer, no pizza, no ice cream, and no fries" Adrienne teases.
"Ok, ok well maybe I'll only enter for the fridges sake" I reply, grabbing a cloth to help clear up the mess. Adrienne lets out a small giggle.
We spend the next 15 minutes attempting to clear up the mess on the floor, but failing as now and then one of us will get the fit of giggles, causing the other to burst out laughing again. We must have been causing a lot of noise as soon enough Mike and Billie enter the room.
"What the fuck is going on up here?" Billie asks, looking down at the pair of us.
"Cooking... .sauce... .Tre... .flying... .floor... ..smashes... .everywhere!" Adrienne said, between laughs. Billie grunted.
"Can't you two just clear the fucking mess up" Billie said sternly, leaving the room. Mike shrugged and followed him. Adrienne immediately stopped laughing and started scrubbing away at the floor feebly.
"Why does he treat you like this?" I ask, watching her wiping up the rest of the mess.
"Like what?" she asks not looking up at me.
"It's like he can never bear to see you happy and never wants you around, its like-he doesn't love you anymore" I say. Adrienne stopped what she was doing and stared at me with anger filled eyes.
"How dare you say such a thing? Billie loves me and I love him, we're great together and no one can stop that!" She hisses at me.
"Adie there's something you should know... " I say. I've got to tell her, she has a right to know. How can Billie hurt such a beautiful and caring woman?
"Yes?" she asks, looking at me.
"Billie is che-" I cut off as Billie enters the room.
