"What An Asshole You Are Billie"-sequal to "you may not see me but im always with you Adrienne", chapter 4
As we all sit down to dinner there is a slight discomfort between everyone.
"Why were you trying to cook?" Billie asks me.
"Just thought I'd have a go at it that's all" I reply, shoving a forkful of pasta in my mouth.
"Well never try it again in my house" Billie says sternly.
"Sheesh, ok dude" I say, raising my eyebrows. Theirs a few minutes silence as everyone concentrates on eating.
"So what were you going to say to me earlier Tre?" Adrienne asks me, breaking the silence.
"What do you mean?" I ask. I know what she's going on about but I can't tell her now.
"Just before Billie came in earlier, you were halfway through telling me something, what was it?" she asks again. This time, Billie glares at me from across the table.
"Oh, erm nothing, it's not important" I say quickly. After that, we all finish off our plates and Billie and Mike head into the living room.
"I'll help you with the washing up" I say, picking up the plates and handing them to Adrienne.
"Oh it's ok, I'm fine" she says sweetly.
"No, I want to help" I say.
"Fine, but just don't make a mess of this" Adrienne says, giggling slightly. I grab a cloth and start drying some plates. Just as I put some plates back into the cupboard I watch as Adrienne scrubs away at a dirty dish, her hips wiggling slightly. A small smile spreads across my face as I start to twirl the dishcloth around. I take the other end and aim. With a quick flick, I ping Adrienne on the top of her leg with the dishcloth. She lets out a small squeal, dropping the dish back into the soapy water.
"Tre! That hurt" She says, laughing. She turns back round and picks the dish back up again. I re-twirl the cloth and aim again, but this time Adrienne swivels round quickly and splashes water in my face before I have time to hit her.
"Dam, how did you know I was going to do it again?" I ask, wiping the soapy water off of my nose.
"There's a thing called a window and a reflection Tre" she replies smartly.
"Ergh, stupid windows" I say, grabbing some dishes and drying them off.
After the washing up, we head into the lounge and I sit down on the arm chair as the sofa's taken up by a greedy Mike and Billie. I soon realise Adrienne has no where to sit. I thought Billie would have offered her a seat but no, he sat staring at the TV screen. I look up at Adrienne and signal for her to squidge up by me. She smiles and walks over, perking her bum down on the arm rest.
"When do the boys come back?" I ask Billie. He just looks at me and shrugs, turning his attention back to the TV. I look up at Adrienne expecting an answer.
"They come back in about a week, they phoned yesterday saying they were missing home and the football trainer was giving hem a hard time" she giggled.
"Well, that's what you get a footie camp" I reply.
I didn't even know I had done it, but after a while of watching television, I suddenly realised I was rubbing the back of Adrienne's hand soothingly. She hadn't snatched her hand away or anything thought. I looked down at her hand and could see her wedding ring glistening in the evening sunlight on her dainty finger. How could he do this to her? She should know the truth, but am I the right person to tell her?

I stare at the TV, not taking in anything that's happening. I can see out of the corner of my eye Adrienne resting against Tre whilst her holds her hand. It makes me sick. I get u and head upstairs in a huff. I grab my phone, which is sitting on my bedside table and see that I have a missed call and a voicemail. I press the button to listen to it. It from Paris.
"Hey babe, I have missed you this past week, have you told her yet? I think you should, I have made up your room ready for you to move in, ring me when you get this message, love you" A female's voice said from the phone.
I smile to myself as I think of her. She was so beautiful and was great in bed. How I longed for her touch right now. I sighed as I redialled her number. It rang a couple of times then I heard her sweet voice pipe up at the other end.
"Hello?" she asks.
"Hey Paris hunny, I got your message" I say quietly.
"Oh great, could you speak up babe, I can't really hear you-oh is she around?" she asks.
"Yeah, look I haven't told her, not yet, its early days but I will tell her. I promise" I reply.
"Great!" she squeals.
"I can't wait to see you again, how about tomorrow night?" I ask her.
"Yeah, I can't wait, oh I've missed you so much Billie" I hear her whisper the last bit.
"I love you too" I say even more quietly. She giggles at the other end, making me shiver with delight.
"I'll come round your place about 7:00pm then" I say.
"Yeah, bye for now babe" she says.
"See you, love you" I whisper.
"Love you too" she says. I hang up, putting the phone back on the bedside table and lying down on the bed. I smile to myself thinking of her. My Paris...
