A Vampire's Chaos, chapter 3

* ETERNITY *

The truth is, everyone knew there was something weird about Eternity. Ever since they met her, she was different. Surely she stood out by being beautiful, she was prettier than Candy, but that's not it. She was a weird pretty. Her skin was so pale, she looked like a ghost. Her hair was so silky that she couldn't even put it up in a ponytail (Like she ever would. It was just a dare once, and she couldn't do it.) Her hair isn't oily-silky, it is gorgeous-silky. Also, her eyes were black. They got even darker when she was mad. Though, they turned an almost golden color when she was happy. It was weird. You could feel the tensity she felt just by looking her in her eyes. It freaked most of her friends out.

Also, she was very bold. She wears very dramatic eyeliners, which looked like she drew designs inside of the black eyeliner. It made her look beautiful, and evil. It was bold. She wears revealing clothes, yet they are gothic. She would wear big, black, chained pants with a too-small-for-her black, short-sleeve t-shirt, with a silver skull in the middle. Underneath would be a red, black, or lime green colored netting that covered her arms. When she was bored in class, she would usually write all over her hand, and color in the spaces between the nets on her arms. She looked awesome.

She was smart, too. Not in school, but in reality. She would have good comebacks, and was quick to think of things. All of that, but she had the weirdest behavior. She was hyper, but quiet. She couldn't sit still, and she had a weird way of saying things. She didn't make sense sometimes. Out of all of those, the weirdest part was that she wouldn't let one single person touch her (except Justin, but no one knew about that). No one had ever seen her with a boyfriend, and she would say 'no' to whoever asked her out. She didn't like getting close to people, yet she talked about everything. Most people felt intimidated by her.

* PRESENT*

Candy stared at everyone. It was too quiet for her to bear.
"Let's go inside and watch a movie!" Candy shrieked, grabbing everyone's attention.

She then took Chris's arm and lead the way through the door. The rest of their group followed. It seemed like they always followed Candy, unless Patience was doing something exotic and cool, but Patience tried to control her ADHD.

They all sat down on Candy's big sofa, as Candy turned off the lights. Putting in Bullet In A Bible, she sat herself down next to Chris, smiling uncontrollably. Eternity and Justin were sitting next to each other, uncomfortable. Tension grew in Eternity, Justin could feel it.
"Anyone want something to drink?" Eternity asked, getting up, trying to control her eagerness to get out of the room.
"I'll come help," Justin said, following her down the hallway, into the kitchen.

"What's your problem?" Justin asked, sharply.
"What's my problem? What's your problem?" Eternity yelled, though not very loud, since she didn't want her friends to hear.
"Nothing! I just wanted to know what you thought about last night. I thought you regretted something about it. You are all stiff and tense today," his voice trailed off.
"Regret it?! I loved it!" she slowly spoke. "I really like you, I just....I don't know if I should get close to someone."
"You know you can trust me, Ette. We've been friends since God-Knows-When! I like you....And I know you like me, too. What's wrong with being more than just friends?" he demanded.

"Nothing," Eternity lied.
"I can tell by the look of your eyes. They are a very dark black. There's not 'nothing' wrong with it, is there?" Justin asked her.
"I just....I can't," Eternity's voice trailed off, tears forming in her eyes. She started to cry. Eternity looked up at Justin, and then ran out of the room without another word. She left him by himself in mystery.

"What just happened?!" Xavier said, out-of-breath, since he had just run into the room.
"Nothing....She just had to get home....Or she'll be in big trouble," Justin mumbled.
"Didn't sound like nothing," Xavier said sharply, with a demanding look in his eyes.

"The movie's on!" Candy yelled from the other room. They walked back through the long, brightly-lit hallway, and sat down on the couch in the living room, with Candy and Chris. They all sat in an uncomfortable silence....
