Dawn To Dusk, chapter 6
Gerard saw that the cut had traveled to underneath her shirt. He started to become confused and didn't understand what was going on. He tried to, carefully, see how bad Jara's deep indentation was without awaking her from her slumber. She looked so heart-broken and sorrowful lying there, yet peaceful and in a relaxed state of mind. Gerard followed the knife cut to under her shirt before Jara began to whimper and cry.
"Please, stop."she sniffled."Please. Leave me alone. I didn't want this to happen. Oh God. I hate myself." Jara's eyes were closed tightly and streaming with salty wet tears."Just, stop, please! I want to go home, I don't want to be here with you, I don't even know you. Please, Stop!!" Jara whined and cried out with deep breaths in between each word.
"What the heck is Jara rambling about?" Gerard thought inside. "Why is she saying things that she doesn't mean?"
Jara's eyes burst open. She saw Gerard above her looking straight down at her. She quickly jumped to her feet and just ran crying as fast as she could towards home, trying to avoid the now bright luminous sun that rose.
"Jara! Wait!" Gerard screamed chasing after her.
After returning home, he looked for Jara. He threw his coat over the hook and started. "Jara, are you all right?" he asked, facing towards the bed.
"Would I be under the bed if I was?"
"Well, you were under there the last time we. . . uh, nevermind."
"That really helped."
"I'm sorry if I did anything to hurt you, Jara. You know I love you and would never want our relationship to come to war."
"Ya," Jara said nearly breaking into tears again.
"Well, do you want to talk about it?"Gerard questioned.
"Do you think I'd be under here hiding from the world and you, if I wanted to talk about it?" Jara said, tears streaming down her face.
"Probably not,"Gerard said, taking a seat on the bed.
"OWWW!!!!"
"Sorry!"he said quickly, getting up.
"Besides, I can't come out. I don't have any clothes on."
"Oh," Gerard said, beginning to smile. He turned around facing the door. He was about to leave the room until the door shut. He turned around and saw Jara standing there.
"I knew it! You were intrigued when I said I had no clothes on! You smirked, don't lie! I saw it!" Jara was fully clothed and looked somewhat a little happier.
She put her arms around Gerard's neck and kissed him on the lips. He kissed her back, and they stood there for a few minutes. Eventually, the kiss got deeper, and Jara, leaned over still kissing Gerard, weighed him down onto the bed. He pushed her down and rolled so he was above her, his hand planted firmly on the bed next to Jara's head. He kissed up and down her neck.
Jara began to become uneasy. Flashbacks of last night popped into her head. The dark figure pushing her down, making her plea for help and to stop. She thought back to last night where she was defenceless and couldn't do anything to stop that man. She remembered how scared she was and how she was taken advantage of. She remembered the horrible, horrible way she was treated.
"STOP!" Jara screamed. She slapped Gerard across the face and pushed him off. She ran out of the room crying with her hands to her face.
