An Ex-Girlfriend's Revenge, chapter 6
"Jana!" Billie called when he walked in the door. He had just gotten back from his trip to Boston. When she didn't answer, he went looking for her. He didn't find her or the kids anywhere. He went into their bedroom to find a lot of Jana's stuff gone. He opened the dresser. Her clothes were gone and so was the suitcase that used to be in the closet. He wondered where she could be. On Vacation? No, there was no note, and she had never called him. Just then he heard the front door open and close, followed by footsteps. "Jana?" he called.
"Try again," he heard a female voice call. He walked to the door.
"Reeses? What are you doing here?" Billie asked, shocked.
"I came to get the rest of Jana's stuff."
"What?"
"She's leaving you Billie."
"What?! Why?"
"She says you're an idiot...and I don't blame her."
"What the hell are you talking about?!"
"She saw you with your mystery girlfriend."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Please, Billie. She followed you to Boston, and saw you go in her house. She took the kids and left. I think she did the right thing."
"Reeses, I didn't-"
"You know what? Save it. I don't want to hear it."
"Where is she?"
"I don't know."
"Yes you do. You're her best friend. She's with you and Tre, isn't she?"
"For your information, she's not...but she doesn't want you to know where she is."
"Reeses. She doesn't know the story. She doesn't know what happened. If you don't tell me where she is, then I'll find her somehow. I have to tell her the truth, because I love her...that's why I married her."
"Good luck then." She turned around and walked out the door, leaving Billie all alone. She got into her car and dialed Jana's cell. "Hey Jana, it's Reeses. I just talked to Billie...I really think that you should call him."
