Adrienne how could you?, chapter 4
"Mike!?" I said as he opened the door.
"Oh hi Billie. Adie wanted me here just in case you do something."
"What would I do? I would never harm her at any case."
"Well she's waiting."
"Where's Steve?"
"He left when I got here."
"YOU leave! I want to talk to her completely alone."
"What are you going to do punch me?"
"You may be my best friend but that still doesn't give me a reason why I can't hit you. So leave!"
"No!" I raised my fist and punched him.
"Sorry I had to do that but I warned you." He had a bloody lip and a bloody nose.
He walked out to his car and left.
"Billie is that you?" Adie asked coming to the door. "Where'd Mike go?"
"He had an accident. So he had to go home. Why did you think I would harm you? And why'd you call Mike? YOU KNOW I WOULDN'T HURT YOU!"
"Billie lower your voice and come in." we went inside.
"Tell me what made you think I would harm you?"
"I don't know. I really did know that you wouldn't. That really wasn't the main reason I had Mike come over. I know when you get to stressed out you have a panic attack and I didn't want you to have one and me not no what to do. It's been a while since you had one and I didn't want you to have one and I forget how to help."
"So you called Mike?"
"He knows more about it then me. Because if you remember he has panic attacks too."
"Yeah. Well never mind I came to talk to you about the Jimmy and you thing. Not you calling Mike."
"So you got my letter?"
"Yeah. I really wasn't that mad."
"Billie you yelled and got out of the car and left."
"Well... Well I kind of have to tell you something."
"What?"
"I... I a... How can I put this. Made out with Mike?" he said in a questioning way.
"You WHAT!?"
"I got mad at you and I went to his house and he told me to go to his room so I did. A few minutes later he came up and sat next to me and we talked. I started to cry and he put his arms around me to comfort me. I turned towards him and he kissed me. Then we got deeper and deeper into the kiss and I guess we went a little farther then kissing. Only two hours and not four."
"Billie I'm sorry. But you did it with your own best friend."
"Well you did it with my BROTHER. Didn't you?"
"Billie how about we take a break for a while. I stay here for a while, while this whole thing blows over."
"What about the boys?"
"Oh shit I forgot about them."
"I bet you didn't even think of them while you were moaning with my brother were you?"
"No. But Billie please. I'm really sorry. Can we just forget about it? How would you feel if I got all crazy about you doing your best friend?"
"Horrible I guess. I'm sorry too. I got too mad. But it is my brother and you're my wife. We've been married for twelve years."
"I know. But I really am sorry."
"Well I guess I'm going home. On my way I'm going to try and figure out a way to tell the boys you're not coming home."
"I Will To Be Coming HOME!"
I turned around and left. I just felt so much rage inside and I didn't want to yell at her. I just needed to go. I got in to my car and drove. I had so much going through my head. 'Will well get divorced? How long will the boys have to deal with this and not being able to see their mom? What if we do get divorced and I get full care for them and I can't take care of them because of Green Day. Would I have to give Green Day up?' I didn't go straight home. I decide I would go to Berkeley and see my sister Holly. I need to talk to someone who's gone through this and made it through. And stayed together.
"Why'd you leave any ways?"
"Did you hear what I just said?"
"Yes I did. But there has to be anther reason why you left town."
"I got to angry and because I love Adie too much I didn't feel like hitting or screaming at her. I have to go. Tell the boys I'll be home tomorrow and that I'm visiting there Aunt Holly. Bye Mike."
"But Billie." I hung up.
*Mike's p. O. V. *
"Uncle Mike is daddy coming home?" Jakey asked.
"Jakey. Daddy is visiting your Aunt Holly and will be home tomorrow. Hey don't you two have school tomorrow?"
"No. We're in summer break." Joey added.
"Thanks Joey. What do you want to do?"
*Billie's p. O. V*
I drove up Holly's drive way. I got up and got up to the door. I knocked.
"Hey Billie come on in." she said well opening the door and moving out of the way. I walked in. She closed the door. I gave her a hug and went a sat down on the couch.
"Hey is Alex and Alexandra a sleep?" Alex and Alexandra are my niece and nephew. They're 13 or 14. Twins.
"Yeah. You want to go see them you can third door on the right. I got up and walked down to their room. I went over to Alex's bed. I sat down. He woke up and little bit.
"Dad?" he asked as he sat up.
"No Uncle Billie." I said. He through his arms around me.
"Uncle Billie!"
"Shh. Don't wake your sister. Hi. Go back to sleep I'll be here tomorrow."
"OK. Hey is Joey here?"
"No. Just me. Now lie down and go back to sleep. He laid back down. I got up and went over to Alexandra. I gave her a hug and kiss. She didn't wake up. Not like I wanted her to but she usually does. I went back out to the living room.
"Why did Alex call me dad?"
"Oh, um me and their dad had uh, got a divorce and I haven't told them yet."
"Holly." oh great. Know how she is supposed to help me when she got a divorced.
"So what do you want?"
