Billie Meets Adrienne For the First Time, chapter 3
Allen got very upset because he has all ways liked Adrienne too. He didn't do or say anything he just keep on going.
"Wow Billie, that was great and unpredictable. Wow." Adie said.
"What you don't feel the same way. I thought you said that you liked me. Now that I'm free you can have me." Billie said.
"I know. I do. That just isn't it, it's that was quick." She said.
"Don't you want to be my girlfriend?" Billie asked.
"Hell ya since I saw you that's been my dream to be with you." She said.
"Ok then. Oh shit we better get to p. E before you get in trouble again. Remember you were going to tell me why you were in trouble." Billie said. Billie put his arm up around her neck and they walk to p. E while Adrienne told Billie how she got in to trouble. When they got into the gym Adrienne's old friend from south was there. Just before she left she go into a fight with him.
"Hey Adie. Do you remember me?" He asked.
"How could I forget the last day we got into a fight? Oh Billie this is Eric. I met him at the end of last year." Adie said.
"Well I got to go here I wrote this to you during the summer but lost your address. I got to go. See ya." Eric said and handed the letter to her then left.
"Read it I want to know what it says." Billie said.
"Ok." Adie said. She opened it and it said:
Hey Adie,
So what on Gods green earth can I say to you that I haven't said before? Look I know that we got off on a bad foot you steeling my friend and all, but the more I think about it the more I have to say to my self. Why can't you be nice to her for Matt so that's what I'm going to do I'm going to be nice to you so I can talk to my friend agene. I still don't think I was being a kid about it I think that I was guest being human. Every since that shity day half a year ago I started to think and this is what my life is. If anyone pisses me off or I don't like someone I'm going to tell you what I think that way you well not have to be livin in the dark saying I wander what ol Eric thinks about me so if that is to much for yall to handle sorry. But I won't ever take shit off of anyone ever agene. I don't hate you Adrienne I guest don't like you that much. But Matt I do love as to bros. Should. All I want to do is talk to my friend. So when you talk to hem let hem know. I guest wanted to talk not about one thing but you know like tell hem that bob, Chris, and myself got are band going and we have been playing up in Lubbock. And that are bands name is Beat Down Dog you know guest the same old shit we would say to each other. I don't know why he got mad at me cuz know one would e-mail me back. I didn't say anything to hem that I didn't say to Steve when he said he was going away. Maybe he got mad at me cuz he thought I would be on his side but I told hem all the things that everyone else had said to hem but I don't know I don't try and look into other peoples minds. So if you could talk to Matt let me know what he thinks.

P. S. I don't call people or go over to there homes all the time. Well I do, do that to Chris but he don't have much of a family. So I'm one of there's.
"Wow. That is weird." Billie said.
"Adrienne what did you do to Allen? Oh, hi Billie." Harley said. Billie waved to her.
"I didn't do anything to him." She replied
"He said he saw you two kissing. Which I can't believe." Harley said.
"Shit. Why would he care any ways?" Adie said.
"Here he comes you ask him." Harley said and walked away.
"Hey Adie." Allen said.
"Billie can you go over there and wait I need to talk to Allen in private." Adie
Asked.
"If he touches you a wrong way, call me over and that will be the end of that." Billie said
"Billie please." Adie said.
"Ok, fine but I warned him." ; Billie said, gave her a kiss on the cheek then left.
"Allen what's wrong?" Adie asked.
"Well, you know we've known each other for about 6 years now right?" He said.
"Yeah." ; She replied.
"Well, seeing you kissing my friend is kind of hard for me to see. Especially
Because... Because...." Allen tried to say.
"Because what?" Adie asked.
"Because.... I..... I like you. There I finally got it out." Allen said. He has been holding that in for 5 years.
"Oh my god Allen I'm so sorry. Come here." She said giving him a hug.
"Allen I warned you. I would run if I were you." Billie said.
"Billie, no. I gave him the hug. He didn't do anything." Adie said stepping between him and Allen.
"Are you sure?" Billie asked.
"Yes, Billie I'm sure. Please got back over there and sit I'll be right there." Adie said.
"Fine. Just hurry up I'm getting lonely." Billie said and walked away.
"Can we still be friends even though I'm going out with on of your friends?" she asked
"I don't know you stole one of my friends from me. We'll see." Allen said and walked away. Adrienne just stood there crying. Billie walked over to her.
"Adrienne what's wrong?" he asked.
"Lets see my best friend just left me." She said while crying. Billie grabbed Adrienne and held her to comfort her.
"It will be ok. On ones going to hurt you if I can help it. I'm here now." Billie said trying to copy what she said earlier.
"Thanks you're the best." Adrienne said stepping beside him. The walked back over to the wall.
"Ok class you've made it this far through the day; it may only be 5th but that means you only have two more periods after this. You also have lunch next for some of you. Please check your schedules to see if you have. If you have Mr. Chapline then go over to the south wall. If you have me, Mrs. Pritchard, then go to the north wall." Mrs. Pritchard said. Billie and Adrienne looked at their schedules.
"Who do you have? I have Mrs. Pritchard." Adie asked.
"I have her too." Billie said. Then saw all friends over to the wall. When she saw Allen's face she started to cry. She ran to the bathroom.
"Adrienne." ; Billie yelled." Adie, what's wrong?" Harley asked as Adie ran pass her. The gym got very quiet. Harley ran into the bathroom after Adrienne. When she got in the bathroom Adie was in corner crying.
"Adie, what's wrong?" Harley asked again.
"It's Allen I can't stand him being mad at me." Adie said through tears.
"Why is he mad at you?" Harley asked
"He saw me kissing Billie." Adie said
"It's true oh my god you really kissed him? Is he a good kisser?" Harley said.
"Harley. Yes really kissed and yes he's a wonderful kisser. But enough about Billie and more about Allen. Well I told Allen that I was going out with Billie." Adie said.
"You're going out with Billie? I though he had a girlfriend? He does I saw him making out with her before school. What are you doing with him? You're making him cheat on his girlfriend. How could you?" Harley said.
"Harley, please. He broke up with his girlfriend after 4th period. So no I'm not making him cheat. And yes I'm going out with the hottest guy in school. Would you please leave now you aren't helping? You're just making worse." Adie said.
"Oh sorry. Continue." Harley said
"Allen told me he likes me. He has since 4th grade." She said.
"I can't believe you can still go out with Billie right after your best friend just told
You that he liked you. But I could understand why you're upset. I can't stand my friends being mad at me either." Harley said.
"Let's go back out there. They're probably think look at that new kid she's such a cry baby." Adie said.
"They have been like that at south but here no one is like that." Harley said. Adie and Harley went back out to the gym. Everyone was socializing. They looked over at Billie he was surround by girls.
"I'll go deal with Allen you go deal with Billie." Harley said.
"Ok." Adie said. Adrienne walked over to the group of girls surrounding Billie.
She pushed her way to Billie. When she was in front of Billie she pulled off the wall and started to kiss him.
"Hey you. What the hell are you doing? Billie don't you have a different girlfriend named Jessica?" Someone asked. While Billie was kissing Adrienne he shooed them away. After they left Adrienne stopped kissing Billie.
"Thanks." Billie said.
"No problem. What are girlfriends for?" Adie said.
"This." Billie said grabbing Adrienne and started to kiss her again.
"Ok, you two that's enough. You're grossing out the rest of class." Mrs. Pritchard said.
"Who cares about them? I surely don't." Billie said.
"Billie. You're being a dork. But that's kind of true who cares about them." Adie said.
"Whatever. Just stop. For now." Mrs. Pritchard said and walked away.
"She is nice." Adie said.
"Yeah, especial to me. Because she my friend, Mike's mom." ; Billie said. For about 5 minutes they talked until Harley ran over to them.
"Hey Adrienne, Allen wants to talk to you now." Harley said.
"Billie will you please stay here? If you come over there with me he may not want to talk to me anymore." Adie said.
"I will just as long that you're not gone long. I'll miss you." Billie said. Adrienne
Went over to Allen.
"Hey Allen." She said.
"Hey" he said.
"I'm sorry. But I just don't like you that way. I've always loved you since I met you but only like a brother nothing more." She said.
"Why only like a brother?" Allen asked.
"I did have feelings like that for you but they went away the more I got to know you." She said. Then Billie walked over. Allen grabbed Adrienne and pretended to kiss her.
