Songs about Mary Jane, chapter 1
"Mr. ARMSTRONG!" the teacher yelled.
Billie Joe Armstrong quickly snapped out of a daze. The teachers are always yelling at him for this. But he couldn't help it... it was because of Mary Jane.
"What have you done this whole period"? The teacher asked him.
"Uh... nothing" he replied casually. He couldn't care less if he got in trouble. He ALWAYS got screamed at.
"Nothing!? Billie Joe Armstrong you are throwing your life away. Not caring at all about your studies! What do you plan on doing with your life after you finish school!!!"
" None of your fuckin business!" he snapped.
The teacher was very angry.
"How dare you talk to a teacher like that. I want you out of my classroom, NOW!"
Billie Joe stood up and began to walk out the door. He looked up and noticed a Beautiful girl with long brown straight hair and hazel eyes give him a dazzling smile that made his heart skip a beet. Her name Was Mary Jane. Everyone called her MJ. And he loved her. They were really good friends. He wanted to be with her so bad. But he didn't have the nerve to tell her. Besides, she was going out with Mike. Mike was Billie Joe's Best friend. And he couldn't do that to him. Billie Joe tried to get MJ out of his head, but he just couldn't. Most of the songs he wrote were about her. Even though he said they were about Brittany. Brittany was his current girlfriend. He didn't love her, even though he said he did. To be honest, he thought she was so annoying and he wished she would go away. He only said yes to her just to say he had a girlfriend.
After detention (he received a detention from the teacher) Billie Joe walked to Mikes house for band practice. Him, Mike, and his other best friend Tre were all in a band together called Sweet Children. Music was his passion. His favourite band was "The Ramones" Billie Joe finally got to Mikes house. And Mike had a pissed off look on his face. He always gets mad when Billie Joe is late. He takes it so seriously.
"Where the fuck were you! You're always fucking late! Me and Tre dedicate our time to this fucking band and yet you're always late"! Mike yelled at Billie Joe
" Chill the fuck out dude, I was in detention. Do you think I would rather be in detention with my asshole of a teacher then be here playing music with my pals?"
" Calm down Mike" said a voice from behind mike. It was Mary Jane. She wrapped her arms around Mike. Billie Joe felt sick.
"You're right dude, sorry I flipped out. Its just that I had a bad day," said Mike
Then Tre started singing that, "You had a bad day," song or whatever the hell it's called. They all laughed. Tre always made us laugh when things weren't so great.
So band practice was great. And the whole time Billie Joe was thinking about MJ. After he put his guitar away, he looked up and saw MJ and Mike passionately kissing. Billie Joe felt like shit. He suddenly became angry. He stormed out of the house without saying goodbye.
"God she's so beautiful, he thought. Mary Jane is an extraordinary girl."
