The Girl They All Want, chapter 11

The Next Day

Billie rushed to prepare his house. This was his only chance, everything had to be perfect. He couldn't fuck this up. Billie made sure the house was spotless.

Finally near the end of the day, Billie felt the house was perfect. He placed a burned CD with Serena's favorite music into his stereo and then lit a vanilla candle (Serena's favorite) and dimmed the lights.
He glanced at the clock. 'Showtime' he thought happily.

Serena had decided to walk over to Billie's but soon regretted it after it started to rain.
She opened the door to her previous home slowly. The house smelt warm like vanilla. She poked her head in before walking in and sitting down on a chair near the fireplace. Moments later Billie appeared, his hair messier then usual.
He yawned then rubbed his eyes, not noticing Serena.
"Hey Billie." She said softly.
His eyes widened but quickly regained his composure.
"Serena, hi." he said slightly embarrassed, before down sitting down.
She got up and stood by the window. She stared out at the darkening sky before speaking. "Billie." she said quietly.
He got up and stood by her. They were the exact same size so he had no problem looking into her blue eyes. "The song said it all." She whispered with a smile.
Billie's face lit up like a Christmas tree.
They both leaned forward and their lips met in a soft kiss.
"I love you." Serena whispered, once they stopped.
"I love you too." He whispered back.

They went back over to the couch and sat down.

Serena leaned her head against Billie, who put his arm around her.
He kissed the top of her head and whispered, "You're my extraordinary girl."
Serena smile and cuddled closer to Billie. Everything always felt right when she was with him.

A Week Later.....
Serena and Billie were at the airport with Tre and Mike, so they could start the quickie tour. Their plane was almost ready to board its passengers.
Mike was reading the newspaper and drinking steaming hot coffee. Tre was copying him, by pretending to read a similar newspaper (although it was upside down) and drinking Stoli hidden inside a Starbucks cup.
Suddenly a security guard appeared.
Tre glanced at him briefly, before looking down once more. Then Tre jumped up and stared at the guard, as if noticing him for the first time.
"I didn't do anything, I swear!" Tre said with a slightly worried look.
The guard raised his eyebrows but said nothing. He turned to Billie.
"Are you Mr. Armstrong?" he asked.
"Yeah..." Billie responded hesitantly.
"There's someone here to see you, if you'd just follow me, it won't take very long." the guard informed him.
"Sure." Billie replied nervously.
The guard motioned Billie to follow him and starting walking away.
Billie gave his friends and girlfriend a helpless look before following the guard.
Billie followed him past the security part of the airport and saw the last person he wanted to see.
