The Girl They All Want, chapter 9
Later that day....
Serena felt exausted from seeing Billie even though it was the early afternoon.
She decided to relax and listen to her iPod (it was one of her favorite things to do).
Meanwhile....
The phone rang and Tre raced to answer it. "Hello?"
"Tre?"
"Duh"
"This is Mike, I need you to do me a favor."
"Ok."
"Would you ask Serena if she still cares about Billie? Casually of course."
"Yay I get to be a spy?"
"Yeah, I gotta go."
Tre hung up the phone.
Tre scurried to Serena's room. He squinted at her until she gave him a strange look. "Are you ok?" she asked.
"Yes I'm doing just fine." he replied with an edge in his voice.
Serena raised one eyebrow, "You sure?"
"Do you still love Billie?" Tre blurted.
"I guess a part of me will always love him but I'm not too sure right now." Serena looked thoughtful.
"Oh." Tre answered with a half hopeful half disappointed look.
Mike's House
All that afternoon Billie pretended everything was okay but on the inside he was anything but and with the tour coming up soon, he felt stressed and unhappy.
Later when he was watching TV, Mike when into his room for a "important" call that needed "privacy".
Mike's P.O.V.
Mike hoped Billie wouldn't be too weirded out but he just had to call Tre.
He punched in the numbers for Tre's cell phone and sighed impatiently as he waited for Tre to answer.
"Hello?"
"Well what did she say?!?!?"
"She said that a part of her would always love Billie but she wasn't sure right now."
"Ok thanks Tre."
"Bye.".
Mike wished that everything was normal and peaceful again but it didn't look like it would happen anytime soon.
Tre's house....
Later that night Tre and Serena decided to watch a scary movie. They got some popcorn and dimmed the lights. Tre decided they would watch 'The Hills Have Eyes'. About halfway through the movie, the electricity went out, covering the house in darkness. Serena grabbed Tre's hand and scooted next to him, without realizing what she was doing. She faced Tre, suddenly realizing how close they were. His blue eyes met her darker ones. Tre gave her a small smile before leaning in and kissing her.
That night Billie felt restless and when he felt restless, nothing like a good jam on his guitar made him feel better. He played Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Holiday numerous times aswell as any fastpaced song he could think of. He happened to glance at the clock and saw that it was 2:30 in the morning. He had been playing for three hours straight! He gently placed his guitar back inside it's case and went to get a drink of water. After he felt his thirst subside, Billie had a sudden urge to check his e-mail. He saw that he had no new e-mail but he decided to compose one instead, to Serena.

I hope someday you'll forgive me. You probably don't want to speak to me again but I love you more then anything in the world.
