Can Love Come From a Stranger's Heart?, chapter 2
He held himself up with his left arm while his right held her head.
"Sabrina. You wanna skip the shopping and to a movie?" they pulled apart quickly and she sat down on a chair while he opened the door and let Katie in. "You two alright?"
"Yeah, everything straightened up."
"Good, now do you wanna shop or watch a movie?"
"It depends, which movie?"
"House of Wax?"
"Dude, I saw the trailer. The cute guy, you know, got made into wax and when he was still soft someone else came in a tried to help him by taking the wax off, but it was all bloody underneath the wax. It was sick!"
"Are you two friends?" Billie looked over at Sabrina, hoping it was yes.
"Yeah, I think so."
"Well, you use to say that he made it so that you weren't afraid, so what if he comes?"
"Keep giving movie choices first."
"Okay, um, the ring?"
"That came out of theaters a long time ago." Billie said.
"Oh, um, Care Bears?"
"Hell no! They can burn in hell!" Sabrina said making Billie laugh.
"Okay, okay, what about Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire?"
"We've all seen it."
"Oh."
"Fine, Billie if we go to House Of Wax, do you mind coming?"
"Um. No I guess not." He told her.
"Do you want us to drive you, or do you have a car?"
"I have a car."
"Hey Sabrina, you could go with him." Katie said trying to make her mad again, but did succeed.
"Is that alright?" Sabrina asked him.
"Yeah." The three of them walked back downstairs. Everyone was getting ready to go and Marcy walked up to them. Do you mind if we go?"
"No, not at all."
"We have our own car, well, I do, so I can drive us there."
"Okay, we'll meet you out front then." Katie, Stacy, Sarah, and Melony all go tin Stacy's car, while Billie and Sabrina got in his Black BMW. "Hey Billie, do you know where I put my keys?" Marcy asked him coming up to his window. "The last place that I saw them was hanging up behind the door, where they always are."
"Oh, yeah, didn't even check there." She walked back into the house and came out with her keys and purse. They waited for everyone to get into her car before Billie and Stacy pulled out of the driveway. Stacy had to go first because she had parked right behind his car. She waited for him to go ahead of her because she didn't know the way to the theater. While they were driving Sabrina started talking. "I really don't get how you could still possibly like me after what I did to you."
"Sabrina, you are one of those people that even after you've done something mean and horrible, others can't possibly stay mad at you. I know, I didn't word that in a very good way, I couldn't understand myself either." She laughed and looked at him. "I understood you enough." She put her hand on his leg and smiled at him. Her cell-phone rang.
"Yellow?"
"Sabrina, we can't go that way, there's something wrong with the road up there." As she said this Billie pulled the car to a complete stop, then immediately backing up. As she looked forward she saw a huge piece of flat metal coming there way. "Billie, faster!" she screamed. She saw the panic on his face, in his eyes, all over. He hit the car behind him before realizing that there was nowhere for them to go. He looked out the rearview mirror and noticed that the car he had barely hit had someone in it, dead. "Did I kill them?"
"No Billie, they were already there, look at the window, it has shattered glass all over it."
"Sabrina, call your mom, she should know what's going on." Billie said as a metal bar came and smashed into the window. Sabrina screamed as it flew into the back and stabbed into the leather seat. "Shit, is this some kinda movie where the people actually get killed?"
"Billie, down!" she did as she said as a large wood object hit the side of the car making him lean towards Sabrina as chunks of wood fly everywhere. "Geese Billie, what is this car made out of, steal?"
"I really don't Ow!" he said as a foot long piece of wood smacked him in the face. "Billie are you alright?" Sabrina screamed turning him to face her. "F- fine." He said holding his head. "It just hurt a little more than I would have liked."
"A little more than you wanted? More likely a lot!"
"Maybe."
"Can we back up at all?" she said.
"Sabrina, get out of the car!"
"What?!"
"NOW!" she looked at him in shock but did as he said. When she got out he pointed to the sidewalk about fifteen feet away from the car, she ran to it and hid behind a mailbox. She watched in horror as three cars were being picked up by something, a tornado! Billie, it'll kill him! Get out get out get out! She thought to herself. As the tornado came closer Billie got out of the car and ran to Sabrina's side, holding her close. "Why'd you tell my to get out and you stayed in longer?"
"You had to get out, and my seat belt was locked form that huge would thing slamming into the side of the door. I couldn't get it undone, and I didn't want you to get hurt even if I did."
"Billie, if you got hurt, I'd kill myself."
"No you wouldn't, you wouldn't have to."
"Why?"
"Because, it would have came and hit you next."
"What?"
"RUN!" he grabbed her hand and ran her into the store that was beside the sidewalk and hid in the back. "Billie, we shouldn't be in here!"
"Why not, the store clerks are probably dead."
"Exactly, which means that we will be in another few seconds."
"Come." Still holding her hand he took her to the back door. It was locked but made out of glass. Sabrina grabbed a bottle of pop and threw it at the window and it shattered. "Good thinking, now let's go." They ran out the broken door and into an alleyway. "Sabrina, if anything happens, keep running, don't stop to help anyone unless you know you have time. If they are already about to die, leave them, only help people who are in your reach."
"What about babies and children?"
"I'll get them, you just keep running." She shook her head and followed him some more. As they were walking they saw a group of men standing over a fire. "You are just standing here while a tornado is coming this way?" he called.
"There is no use running away, you cannot escape her."
"Escape who?"
"She is coming, she is very mad." Billie and Sabrina looked at each other. She was going to get them? They couldn't escape? "Who is coming sir?" they only pointed. As Billie and Sabrina turned around they saw a huge swirl of dust and shapes flying around in it. He was right, there was no escaping.
"Sabrina. You wanna skip the shopping and to a movie?" they pulled apart quickly and she sat down on a chair while he opened the door and let Katie in. "You two alright?"
