Can Love Come From a Stranger's Heart?, chapter 6
Finally we ended up at his house; it was taking way too long! He went to his front door and knocked. Ollie answered it.
"Billie? We were all so worried! Where were you two?!" she asked, pushing us into the house.
"Oh, we were put into a movie that we didn't even know about!" I answered for him.
"What?" she asked, looking at us.
"Yeah. The person directing it didn't tell us what was going on until after we were almost killed." Billie grumbled.
"What do you mean? He was making a movie, and you guys didn't know it?" She asked us.
"Yeah, that's about it. It was about this stupid tornado thing, and Billie ended up hanging off of a building, while the guy, he just sat there with his freaking camera, taping everything!" I said.
"Billie, you were hanging off of a building?" Marcy asked as she came in, after hearing our voices.
"Only slightly." He said.
"Was it awesome?" she asked excitedly.
"No, no not really." He said as he looked at her like she was weird.
"Why exactly would hanging off of a building be fun?" I asked her, smiling.
"Oh, I just thought that it would be an interesting experience, that's all." She laughed.
"Oh it was interesting all right." I said to her. She smiled and walked over to the front door.
"Um Billie, where's your car?" she asked, turning to look at him. He smiled.
"They like, destroyed it." He said, trying to hold back his anger again.
"Oh my fucking god, are you serious?" she asked, putting her hand to her mouth.
"Yep." Was all he said.
"Damn, that's not cool. Are they paying for it? And do they have to pay you for being in the movie, that almost killed you?" she asked, looking at me and him.
"They said they would, but he'll probably run away." I answered her. She looked at Billie as he began to talk.
"Yeah, but he has to pay the whole town too, for destroying it." He smiled.
After about an hour of talking about that and nothing we all went into the living room. Billie sat down and motioned for me to sit next to him, so I did. We all watched T. V., though there was nothing on, so we just started to talk again.
"So, what are we gonna do tomorrow?" Sarah asked.
"I don't have any ideas, not yet at least." Melony told her. I looked at Billie who smiled and didn't say anything.
"We could go hunt the guy down, the one that did this... " Marcy said. She could act so childish sometimes. We all looked at her and laughed, again.
"Marcy, what good would it do, we don't even know where he lives. He could be halfway across the damn world right now for all we know." Billie said. She just shrugged.
"It was an idea." She responded with a yawn. We all looked at the television, still trying to find something to watch. Everyone started to get tired, so Ollie stood up.
"You guys can spend the night if you'd like, we have to three extra bedrooms." She offered. We all looked at her and thought, Melony was the first to speak.
"Do you guys want to?" we looked at her, Billie looking at me.
"Sure." We all said.
"Okay, just go get a room then, and Marcy, could you go get Marsh out of whatever room he went into, he'll be real pain if he stays tonight." she asked her, referring to the black kitten they had. From what Billie had tried to explain to her when she was ignoring him, the cat was a real dork. He would chase after you on its hind legs, for hours, and wouldn't tire out. Marcy got up and walked down the hall, coming back with the cat in her arms.
"Billie, it's your turn to take the cat." She said, handing it to him. He glared at her but took Marsh.
"You're the meanest." He joked. The others stood up, yawning.
"Well I'm going to bed." Katie said, Stacy followed. Sarah and Melony got up too.
"Good night guys, we'll see ya tomorrow." Melony said as she walked off down the hall to the room that had had Marsh in it. The girl walked into a bedroom, then the Armstrong's went into their rooms. Me and Billie were the only ones in the dark living room. He stood up and put his hand out, I took it and he pulled me up. Still holding my hand he walked up the stairs to his room.
"Will you?" he asked me.
"Sleep in here?" I asked, pretending to be disgusted.
"Yes." he said.
"Of coarse." He opened the door and let me inside, closing it behind him. It was darker in here than it was downstairs, by a lot.
"Do you have anything for me to wear?" I asked.
"Here." He said pulling a large black shirt and a pair of shorts out of his drawer. I took them and had him turn away while I got dressed. When I was done I turned back around, he was looking at me.
"You are a naughty boy." I said, realizing that he had been looking at me the whole time.
"I know." He smiled.
"You gonna get dressed or not?" I asked.
"You don't need to be dressed for this." He said, while pushing me onto the bed. I didn't hesitate or push him away; I just let him do what he wanted. I was tired, and he was too, but I still wanted him. Our lips touched softly, almost too soft. He got on top of me and kissed me. We did this for about five minutes, he got off of me and lay down, I snuggled up against his warm body. No more than five minutes later he was asleep, I watched him. He sighed in his sleep. I wish I'd been better to him, then I wouldn't have had to wait so long for this moment. He mumbled something in his sleep, it sounded like he was talking about... Sock soup. Nice. When I was about to close my eyes I felt something jump on my leg. I jumped when I noticed a small figure coming towards me. I tried not to scream, but clung onto Billie. He noticed and woke up, looking at me sleepily.
"What ya doin'?" he asked. I looked at him and laughed.
"There's something at the end of the bed, it scared me." he looked at me and smiled.
"Dat ting?" he asked, still pretty much asleep.
"Yeah, dat ting." I said back.
"It's only the cat." He said. I looked at the foot of the bed and sighed.
"It looked like a rat or something to me." he smiled again and laughed at me. "hey!" I whispered
