Sapphire Emerald, chapter 3

"Oh! You must be Joey's girlfriend, great to meet you!" He said and shook my hand. I tried not to look shocked and smiled.
"Erm, yeah... I - I'm Sapphire Emerald. Nice to meet you too, Mr. Armstrong," I stuttered, astonished as hell. Billie Joe Armstrong. Why didn't I get it before? It was so clearly, Joey was a younger version of his dad, except his eyes...

I sent Joey a quick look that could kill, and he blushed. At least he could have warned me!
"Erm... You can just call me Billie, please," Billie muttered, suddenly he seemed shocked as hell too. Why? There was nothing special with me. I looked up from my shoes and up at Billie again. He was really pale and looked as though he had seen a ghost. And he stared at me like I was going to kill him. Adrienne looked worried at him.
"Are you ok, hun?" She asked and put her hand on his arm. He stopped staring at me and looked at her instead.
"I don't feel good, Adie... I think I'll go and lie down a bit," He said and went out of the kitchen and up the stairs. I looked at the clock.
"I better go now, I promised to help my mum clean her house" I said and got up from my chair. Lie alarm! I hadn't promised my mom anything. "It was nice to meet you Adrienne," I said and went quickly out the door. Of course Joey followed.

"Sapphire, wait!" He shouted as I quickly went out the front door. I turned around and looked him in the eyes.
"What, Joey? Something you wanna tell me??" I asked. He blushed and looked away. "Exactly what I thought," I hissed angry and kept on walking. He followed me and apologized, over and over again. I pretended I didn't hear him and walked home to my small apartment. When I unlocked the door Joey was still next to me, even though he hadn't said anything for a while. He was almost a bit desperate, and I couldn't help but like it.
"Please, I know I should have told you, but-" He started, but then I interrupted him by kissing him softly on his lips. First he was surprised, but then he put his arms around me and kissed me back. The kiss grew more intense, we both knew something was going to happen. I pulled out of the kiss, and Joey looked a little disappointed. Then I opened the door, dragged him inside and started kissing him again. No way I was going to ruin the moment...

*Joey's P.O.V.*

I came home the next morning, sat down by the kitchen table and took a bowl of cereal. A few minutes later dad came down and sat down next to me.
"Good morning!" I said happy.
"Mornin,'" he answered. We didn't say anything for a while, just ate in silence. I was thinking about last night. Then dad spoke again.
"Where were you last night?" He asked. I froze.
"I slept at a friend's house," I then answered. Well, sorta true...
"Okay. You know your girlfriend?" Dad asked. I sighed.
"Yeah? What about her?" I asked.
"Well erm... I was just thinking... You haven't slept with her, have you?" My cereal came down the wrong way, and I started coughing.
"Why the hell do you ask??" I shouted angrily. That was none of his business! He blushed and looked down.
"Sorry... " He muttered and left the room. I sighed and tried to forget the conversation.

While I was walking to school I was thinking about Sapphire. Lucky bastard! She had finished school! I heard a beep from my pocket, and I knew I had got an SMS. I sighed and took it out. Probably one of my friends whining about why I didn't call them last night. But it was from Sapphire! I smiled and opened it.

Hey there schoolboy!
I feel dirty, wanna come and take a shower?
School sux, drop it hun

I grinned and shook my head. It was tempting, indeed. But I had already skipped twice this week. And it was only Wednesday! I sighed and answered.

Hey you dirty whore!
I'd love to, and you know that.
But I can't, really sorry babe. :'(

Five minutes later I arrived at the school. Immediately my friends came over.

"Hey, why didn't you call last night? I thought we agreed to do something yesterday!" Chris said. I just sighed then shrugged.
"I was busy, okay? God, you guys can do something without me you know!" I answered. I knew I was being an ass, they hadn't done anything wrong. I was thinking about my little argue with dad. Why did he ask? He hadn't done that with my other girlfriends! A load roar from a motorcycle came from behind me. Everyone turned and looked, I already knew who it was. A tall girl in black jeans and red and black shirt walked over towards me. She stopped in front of me. Sapphire.
"You know I don't take no as an answer, right?" She asked, then she kissed me. I kissed back and put my arms around her. I forgot about the fact that the whole school was watching, now it was just her and me. When we broke from the kiss she whispered softly in my ear, "Come with me, please?" I smiled, what else could I do? I nodded, and we went home to her house.
