Maria, chapter 2
I made sure that the teacher wasn't looking and I grabbed the note and opened it. The note said:
Will you go out with me?
'WOW!' I thought to myself 'I had no clue at all that he liked me!' I quickly replied with a 'Yes' and handed it beck to Billie. When he read the note I saw a smile go across his face. After class I heard someone say:
"M&M wait!" and I turned around to see Tyler walking over to me.
"Hey TJ."
"Hey, what was going on between you and what's his name?" he asked "I saw you guys passing notes."
"His name is Billie, and we passed one note once."
"And it said?"
"Nothing."
"Yeah right I really believe that, and if that is true then why are you smiling?"
"Fine! You really want to know what was in that note?"
"Yes now tell me."
"I'm getting to it!" I said "Okay he asked me out."
"Who?"
"God your and idiot aren't you? Billie asked me out."
"And I know that you were smart enough to say 'no', right?"
"No, I was smart enough to say 'yes'"
"Huh?"
"I said that I would go out with him that's what yes means."
"Okay you don't have to talk about me behind my back." I heard someone say and I turned around to find Billie.
"Who said I was talking about you?" I asked
"Well you're explaining something to your brother who looks like he's about to have a heart attack." He said. I looked at Tyler and Billie was right he did look like he was about to have a heart attack.
"Damn it you caught me." I said "Um, Tyler are you okay?"
"No I think I'm going to barf." He said and ran into the bathroom and sure enough I heard barfing noises coming from the bathroom. After he came out I decided to take Tyler to the office.
"I'll see you in class." I said "I'm going to take him to the office."
"Okay." Billie said

"Excuse me?" I asked
"Yes?" The lady at the desk asked
"Um, my brother kind of threw up." I said
"Where?" she asked
"In the bathroom." I said
"Good. I'll put him in the nurses office will you please call you mom?"
"Uh, it our dad not our mom she lives in Iowa." I said as I dialled our number.

"Hello." My dad answered
"Hey dad it's Maria." I said
"Um, hi why are you calling?" he asked
"Um, well TJ kind of threw up." I said
"Great tell whoever's in charge that I'll be there in ten minuets." he said
"Okay I will."
"Bye"
"Bye"

"My dad said he'll be here in ten minuets." I said to the lady
"Okay now get to class you're already late not that I don't' appreciate you bringing your brother in here."
"Right." I said and left for class
'I don't want to go to Social Studies' I thought to myself

"Where have you been?" The teacher asked
"The office." I replied sitting at the empty desk next to Billie.
"Why my I ask."
"Because my brother threw up and I took him there." and there were a lot of 'EWW' s
"Okay, are your mom or dad coming to pick him up?"
"Well I don't know that our mom could because she lives in Iowa but yes our dad is."
Will you go out with me?
