Everyday is the worst day ever 2, chapter 10
"I'm sorry but visiting hours are over. Your going to have to come back tomorrow," A nurse said.
"Ok. I hope Billie wakes up tomorrow," Mike said.
"Don't worry. He should. He's just sleeping now," The nurse said checking Billie.
They left the room. Mike drove Tre home.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow morning around 9. Ok?" Mike asked.
"Ok. Good night," Tre said taking his key out.
"Good night," Mike drove off. Tre opened the door and turned on a light. He was very careful not to wake Claudia or Ramona. He went into the bathroom and took a shower. He then went into bed and kissed Claudia on the forehead. He then fell asleep.
Claudia woke up in the middle of the night. She noticed Tre shivering and mumbling in his sleep.
"NO! Please! Just leave us alone!" Tre said in his sleep. He turned to the other side. "NO!! LET HIM GO!! HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Tre yelled in his sleep again.
Claudia shook him awake. "Tre? Wake up. Your dreaming. Tre?" Claudia shouted shaking Tre.
"Nooooooo! Huh? What?" Tre said opening his eyes and sitting up.
"You were having a bad dream," Claudia said.
"Oh. It was horrible. Some guys kidnaped me, Billie and Mike and they were beating us up. Then they took Billie, stabbed him a few times, and smashed his head against the concrete. Then they came up to me. They were going to do the same thing, but you woke me up. Claudia, I'm scared. What if some guys really do kidnap us? What if they do kill Billie? I don't want to die," Tre said teary eyed.
"Don't worry. It was just a dream. Everything is going to be ok. Try and get some sleep," Claudia said.
Tre fell back asleep. He woke up the next morning at 7:30. He got out of bed. Claudia was downstairs making pancakes. "Good Morning. How was the rest of your night? Anymore bad dreams?" Claudia said flipping a pancake.
"No. Thank god," Tre said.
"I made you some breakfast," She said putting a plate of pancakes and eggs in front of him. She poured him a glass of orange juice.
"Thank you," Tre said taking a bite of the pancakes. "Mike will be here around nine. Were going to see how Billie's feeling," Tre said.
Tre finished his breakfast and went back upstairs to get dressed.
Mike then came and they drove to the hospital. They went straight to Billie's room. Billie was sitting on his bed watching TV.
"Billie your awake. How are you feeling?" Mike asked.
"A lot better. Tre? What's wrong?" Billie asked.
Tre was crying. "I had a nightmare last night. That after you came home these guys kidnaped us and they killed you Billie and then they were going to kill me, but Claudia woke me up before I got that far," Tre said wiping away his tears.
"Don't worry Tre. It was just a dream. I got some good news. The doctor said I may get to go home this week. They just want to keep me here just in case anything happens," Billie said. "I wish I could get out of this bed though. I'm tired of lying down,"
A Week Later.
Billie was released from the hospital. He was so excited about going home to see Adrienne again. He wanted to apologize for how he acted. He even had a surprise for her. A dozen roses. Those were her favorite. Little did he know about what was going to happen when he got home.
"Ok. I hope Billie wakes up tomorrow," Mike said.
"Don't worry. He should. He's just sleeping now," The nurse said checking Billie.
They left the room. Mike drove Tre home.
