Everyday is the worst day ever 2, chapter 6
"BILLIE! GET THE FUCK BACK HERE. I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET!" Adrienne screamed.
Billie just kept walking. He grabbed his keys and headed to the front door. Adrienne blocked it.
"Get out of the way Adie. I'm going to visit my best friend." Billie said nastily.
"NO! Were not done talking yet." Adrienne said.
"Well I am." Billie said pushing her out of the way.
"HEY! BILLIE! GET BACK HERE." Adrienne screamed. She ran towards Billie's car. Billie drove away. Adrienne started to cry. She walked back into the house. Joey was standing in the Kitchen.
"Joey? What are you doing out of bed?" She asked.
"I heard you and daddy fighting." Joey said
"Oh Joey, I'm sorry we woke you up. We were fighting over something stupid anyway. Nothing to be worried about." Adrienne lied.
"What were you fighting about?" Joey asked.
Adrienne had to think of something quick. "Uh, daddy was snoring really loudly so I told him to stop and then he wouldn't listen." Adrienne said. "Now it's way past your bedtime so head back upstairs ok."
"Ok mom. Goodnight." Joey said.
"Goodnight Joey." Adrienne said.
AT THE HOSPITAL
Billie found a parking space and went in. He walked up to the receptionist.
"Hi. Can I help you?" She asked with a smile.
"Yeah. What room is Mike Dirnt in?" Billie asked.
"I'm sorry, but Mr. Dirnt is in critical condition. No one is allowed to see him until we move him out of the ICU." The receptionist said.
"Ok. Thank you." Billie said pretending to walk towards the door. Instead he made sure no one was looking and walked into the ICU. He looked to see with room Mike was in. He found it and went in. Mike was unconscious. He had an Oxygen mask over his mouth and his head was bandaged. He had many cuts and bruises all over his face. Billie started to cry. "Mike you can't die now. You're my best friend. What would I do without you. I just had a huge fight with Adie so I can't go home." Billie said holding Mike's hand. He was cold and pale which made Billie cry even more. Billie sat down in the chair across the room. He fell asleep.
30 minutes later
Billie was fast asleep and was shivering. A nurse walked in to check on Mike. She noticed Billie in the chair. She walked over to him and shook him. He didn't wake up. She noticed Billie was shivering so she felt his forehead. He was burning up. 'That's odd. He's shivering but he's burning up. ' the nurse thought. She lifted Billie and laid him down into the bed next to Mike's. She then checked on Mike. He was doing much better. He was just sleeping now and should wake up in the morning. The nurse checked a few other things and left.
The next morning
Billie woke up in a cold sweat. He looked around and noticed he was in a hospital bed. A nurse walked in. "Your awake. You had a weird virus or something last night. You were shivering but had a fever." The nurse said.
"I just had the worst dream. I dreamt that Mike died and came back as a ghost. He killed my wife and kids then he killed me." Billie said scared.
"Don't worry. Mr. Dirnt is ok. He should wake up any minute." The nurse said. The nurse walked out.
Billie turned toward Mike. Mike started to stir. "Mike?" Billie said.
Mike then opened his eyes. "Where am I?" He asked weakly.
"Your in the hospital Mike you were in a car accident." Billie said.
"Who's Mike and who are you?" Mike asked.
Billie stared at him in shock
