Everyday is the worst day ever 2, chapter 8
Tre stayed in Mike's room. Mike had fallen asleep. 'I hope Mike has his memory back tomarrow.' Tre thought. He walked into Billie's room. Billie was still unconscious. Tre walked over to him. He felt his forehead. 'Damn. He's burning up.' Tre thought. He sat down in a chair across from the bed. A doctor came in the room. He noticed Tre sitting there.
"Oh, I didn't know anyone was allowed in here. Can I help you with something?" He asked.
"I was just visiting him. He passed out before and is burning up. They took his temperature before but it was normal." Tre said.
"That's why I came here. To have a look at him." The doctor said walking over to Billie. The doctor opened a drawer and took out a light. He opened Billie's eyes and shown the light in them. He then took out a thermometer and took Billie's temperature. "You're right. No fever. But he's warm. I don't get it." The doctor said. He checked Billie's heartbeat and felt his stomach. "There's nothing wrong with him." The doctor said. "Has anything happened to him recently. Before he passed out?" The doctor asked.
"Yeah. We were playing around and Billie cracked his head open. He had surgery last week." Tre said. "Also his best friend was in a serious car crash and has amnesia. Maybe this is just a panic attack. A really bad one."
"That could be. I noticed he's not breathing too well. I'm going to keep him on oxygen." The doctor said. He walked out.
Tre went back to Mike's room. Mike had woken up. "Mike. How do you feel?" Tre asked.
"My head hurts. What happened?" He asked.
"You were in a serious car crash. You had amnesia yesterday. You didn't know who I was, or your wife. You didn't even know who Billie was." Tre said.
"Speaking of Billie, where is he?" Mike asked.
"He passed out last night. He's in the next room. No one knows what's wrong with him. He feels like he has a fever but he doesn't. It's really weird." Tre said.
A nurse walked in. "Mr. Pritchard your awake. How do you feel?" She asked.
"Just got a headache. And I'm wondering about my friend Billie Joe Armstrong. I heard he passed out and no one knows what's wrong with him?" Mike said.
"Yes. He's burning up but he has no fever." The nurse said. She then left.
"I'm going to go see Billie. I'll be back in a minute." Tre said.
Mike nodded.
Tre walked to Billie's room. He gasped when he saw it was empty.
