Everyday is the worst day ever 2, chapter 9
Billie was gone. Tre saw Billie's doctor pass by. He grabbed him by the coller. "Where is he?" Tre screamed in the doctors face.
"Sir calm down," the doctor said calmly.
"How can I fuckin calm down. My best friends dead," Tre screamed.
"Sir. He's not dead. Yet. He stopped breathing. We took him to intensive care, but he's not doing very good. His heart has stopped three times already. I'm afraid that if it stops again, we'll have to let him go," the doctor said.
"FUCK NO! Don't you dare let him go. Billie will pull through. Anyway. Where is he? I want to see him and so does Mike," Tre asked.
"I'm sorry. He's in to bad of condition right now. You will have to come back later," the doctor said.
"I don't think so. I wan't to see him now. Get out of my way." Tre said pushing the doctor. He ran down the hall and looked for Billie. Tre looked through all the windows. He didn't see Billie. Just then a bunch of doctors and nurses were running through the hall. Tre followed. He started crying when he saw where they went. They were in an operarting room. Tre looked in and saw Billie lying on the table. Doctors and nurses surrounded him. One doctor was giving him oxygen. Another was giving him CPR. Tre looked at the heart monitor. It had a long green line on it. 'No! Please don't die Billie.' Tre thought. The doctor was now charging up the shock pads. He put them on Billie's chest. After 1 shock Billie's heart was beating again. The doctor lifted Billie and put him on a stretcher. He wheeled him out of the room. Tre followed. He stayed hidden so no one would see him and tell him he had to leave. Tre watched the doctors put billie into his bed. They kept the oxygen mask on him. Tre waited until they left before he walked in. He went over to Billie and held his hand. His hand was warm. That was a good sign. "Billie? Are you in there? Come on. Wake up. I miss you. Everyone does. We can't go on without you. Your the reason we got big. Come on wake up," Tre said. It was no use. Billie wasn't going to wake up. Tre decided to leave. He headed towards the door. Before he walked out he heard someone whisper his name. He turned around. "BILLIE!" Tre screamed. He ran over to him and hugged him.
"Tre! I...can't...breathe," Billie said.
"Sorry. I'm just glad your awake. How do you feel?" he asked.
"Weak," Billie said. His eyes were halfway open. A doctor came in.
"Mr. Armstrong. Your awake. How are you feeling?" The doctor asked.
"Tired. Weak," Billie said looking half asleep.
"You don't look to good. I'm going to put you to sleep for a few hours. You should feel better then," the doctor said. He injected Billie with the sleeping drug. Billie fell asleep right away. "You could come back when he wakes up. Let him get some sleep," the doctor said.
"Ok. Thanks for saving Billie," Tre said. He was very happy Billie as alive. He waited in the waiting room until Billie woke up.
"Sir calm down," the doctor said calmly.
