Did 'Forever' End?, chapter 1
"I'll love you forever..." Mike whispered into Steph's ear. He had said this millions of times before, and Steph believed him all of those times.
"I'll love you too..." Steph whispered back to Mike. He was the only good thing in her life right now. The two teens lay back on the damp grass that covered the city's park. They looked up at the moon, together. Mike reached over and puled Steph close to him. He calmly studied her face for a good minute or two, before placing a soft kiss on her forehead. He wrapped his arms around her and held her so close. He never wanted to let go of her.
Steph wrapped her arms around him and held him back. She never wanted him to leave her. Never.
Mike took a glance at his watch. Whoa, 11:30 already?! "C'mon Steph!"
She had fallen asleep in his arms, so he tried waking her up.
"Come on Steph! You gotta get up!" He whispered to her Steph moaned groggily.
"Wwhhaatt?" she said, a little too loud.
"Shh! Keep quiet, you'll wake them up..." Mike trailed off. Steph was obviously too sleepy to get fully up and walk to his car. Mike picked Steph up and carried her to his car. He opened the passenger seat and sat her in it. Nice and snug. He closed the door and went to the driver's side. He started the car and drove Steph to his house. It was too late to take her home, so he just took her to his house.
When he arrived at his home, he carried Steph back out of the car and to his room. He lay her down on his bed and lay down next to her. He patiently focused his eyes on her, breathing ever so softly and she snoozed away. He smiled to himself. I must be the luckiest guy in the world... he told himself. He snuggled up next to her and fell asleep. Maybe tomorrow would be yet another wonderful day with his one and only love.
