Did 'Forever' End?, chapter 2
Mike arose to the glory morning. The sun's rays smacked him in his beautiful grey eyes.
"Oh.. CRAP!" he semi-yelled as his covered his eyes. The sun's blinding light wasn't the greatest thing for him to see this early. He glanced down at Stephanie, once his vision became restored, and he smiled to himself once again. He reached down and shook her gently.
"Steph.." he whispered to her. She moaned grogly, not wanting to wake up.
"Steph.." Mike whispered again, but he nudged her shoulder a bit this time. She moaned a bit again.
Mike knew she was doing this on purpose now. He snuggled up close to her and hugged her tightly.
She giggled and hugged him back.
"Hehe, morning Honey.." Steph said to her boy. She kissed him softly and he did the same to her.
"Morning, Babe." Mike said in response to Steph. He kissed her back and kept hugging her.
"What happened last night?" Steph asked, curiously.
"You don't remember?!" Mike said, playfully. Steph giggled and hugged him tightly. Mike hugged her back, and they held on to each other. Their loving moment was interrupted when Mike's home phone rang.
"Ugh.." Mike sighed, angrily.
"Let the machine get it.." Steph whispered.
"I have no machine.." Mike responded. He got up and ran downstairs. Steph waited patiently for him to come back. She couldn't hear much from the phone conversation downstairs, so she got up and swiftly skimmed down the steps to see what was taking so long.
Right when she reached the bottom floor, right near the kitchen, where the phone was, Mike hung up and gave Steph a very concerned look.
Steph looked back, very worried.
"What's wrong?" She asked, curiously. Mike calmly walked over to Steph and held her by her shoulders.
"Now listen.. That was your mom." Mike started," She called from the hospital."
Steph's eyes widened as she began to worry.
Mike continued," It seem that your uncle had some sort of emergency. Margret found him just lying on the ground, with blood coming..." Mike trailed off.
Steph gaped and began to cry a little.
"Steph, don't cry." Mike said strongly. He hugged her tightly as she began to weep on his shoulder.
