Life, chapter 12
She was gone.
Rebbeca had died of swelling of her brain.
"No, No, No!!" Billie Joe cried while the nurses and doctors tried to revive Rebecca but failed.
Billie Joe cried and cried and so did Tre.
The nurse came over to Billie Joe and hugged him "I'm so sorry honey, don't worry."
She soothed him and Tre.
When he had calmed down a bit he went to tell Mike and Stacy what happened.
They Both cried.
Mike was so shocked he kept saying over and over again that it was his fault.
"It's not Mike" Tre said. "But if I hadn't of hit her she wouldn't of gone I practically killed Rebecca" He cried and ran out.
"Listen guys can I have a little bit with Lauren by myself?" Billie Joe asked.
Tre and Stacy went to get coffee while Billie Joe talked to Lauren.
"Look I know this is kind off stupid talking to you when you cant hear me" Billie Joe started "But I really love you so you cant leave me please wake up please I'm begging you!" Billie Joe cried.
Just then the doctor came in.
"Hello Mr. Armstrong, look I'm really sorry about your daughter and we are going to do the best for your girlfriend but keep on talking to her she can hear you. She cant reply but she can hear you, so keep talking to her"
He checked her machines and walked out.
"Honey umm....Becky's gone, she was to small her injuries were to bad for her to live but dont worry ya know why? Because shes with your mom and my dad in heaven and they will look after her but you gotta wake up for me and Tre and Mike, Mike thinks it was his fault and he ran off, I'm just gonna go get a drink but I promise I'll be back, I love you" He kissed her on the head and walked out.
Tre and Stacy were sitting outside.
"Hey" Stacy said."Hi" Billie Joe replied.
"I wonder where Mike went I hope he dosent try something stupid" Tre muttered.
All three of them looked at each other. "Shit" Billie Joe said.
"I'll go to Lauren's and look for him" Stacy said.
"Thanks sweetie" Tre said hugging her.
Stacy drove to Laurens in her car.
She unlocked the door and ran in. "Mike" She shouted. "Mike where are you?"
She ran upstairs and saw something in the bathroom.
"Oh god Mike" She screamed.
She pushed open the door and saw Mike lying on the floor motionless with a bottle of vodka and a box of pills beside him. "Oh god"
