Life, chapter 14
Billie Joe ran down the hall to Lauren's room. He could hear doctors and nurses shouting at eachother to charge 360.
No, he thought.
She was dying. "No! Lauren please wake up! Please I'm begging you to please don't go!" Billie Joe screamed.
He was now a big mess on the floor.
"Can someone get him out of here" A doctor screamed.
It was true they were trying their best to revive her.
"No, no, no, no" Billie Joe muttered to himself while sobbing loudly.
Tre tryed to pick his best friend of the floor but Billie Joe screamed "Get off me"
Next thing he knew he was knocked out.
Billie Joe woke up 3 hours later on a chair in the waiting room.
He noticed a patch on his arm that was extremly itchy. He went to itch it but a voice said "Dont touch it dude".
He looked up and saw Tre sitting across from him.
"What happened?" Billie Joe asked.
"Well you were making such a fuss the doctors had to sedate you" Tre answered.
"Oh my god Lauren! Where is she?" Billie Joe said trying to get up.
"She died" Tre answered. "No!" Billie Joe shouted.
"She was dead for 10 minutes and she came back man!!" Tre said smiling.
"What!?" Billie Joe said laughing and hugging Tre.
"Yeah she's in a light coma, should wake up in a couple of days"
"Oh my god" Was all Billie Joe could say.
He went with Tre to her room. Mike and Stacy were sitting beside her bed.
"Hey Mike!" Billie Joe said. "How are you feeling?" Billie Joe was the happiest he had been in days.
"I'm great, she's a fighter huh?" Mike said pointing to Lauren.
"Yeah I'm still shocked, I don't remember being knocked out"
Billie Joe went and sat beside Lauren, when a doctor came in.
"Hello Billie Joe how are you feeling?" The docter asked.
"I'm good, Listen I'm sorry about earlier" Billie Joe apologized.
"It's ok but you guys have to keep talking to Lauren, Tell her things from before and happy things it will help her wake up easier" And with that he went.
"Listen I have to go home for a while and check on my son I will be back though" Stacy said getting up.
She hugged Mike and Billie Joe but she gave Tre a kiss on the cheek.
"Ohh Tre has a girlfriend" Mike started to sing when Stacy left the room.
But he stopped when he got hit over the head witha pillow thrown by Tre.
"Hey!" Mike cried. "Well I'm gonna go get some sleep" Tre said leaving the room.
"Yeah so am I, will you be alright here" Mike asked Billie Joe. "Yeah go on I will see ya later".
Billie Joe sat and watched Lauren for a while.
"Baby do you remember when my dad died? You said you could share mine, I have loved you since then"
"Over this last year I have missed you so much, I love you so much... In my eyes you are the most sweetest most beautiful women in the world... you're amazing"
"You nearly gave up on me!! But you gotta hold on so we can be together"
And with that thought he started to sing to her:
