Life, chapter 15
*3 Days Later*
Billie Joe woke up with a fright. He had been having nightmares since Becky died.
He looked over at Lauren in the hospital bed. She still hadnt woken up.
Tre and Stacy were going out and Mike and the nurse went out for a date last night.
Billie Joe just wanted her to wake up.
"C'mon baby please wake up, please?" Billie Joe whispered.
He went to get a glass of water and when he came back Tre was sitting beside Lauren."Hey dude" Billie Joe said walking back into the room.
"Hey! Hows she doing?" Tre asked.
"Well they say she should of woken up yesterday but its nothing to worry about"
Just then her fingers twitched.
"Oh my god! Did you see that?" Tre screamed.
Billie Joe ran out and got a docter.
"Yes she is waking up,but shes going to be realising that beckys gone and what happened so be prepared" The docter said.
Mike came soon after and Stacy.
They were all exited about Lauren waking up.
*Later that night*
Billie Joe was just getting to sleep, the nurses allowed him to stay when Lauren started saying "Becky!! No!! Come Back!!" It hurt Billie Joe to see her like this.
"Shh!! Shes ok now, remember i said she would be with you mom and my dad,they will take care of her now" Billie Joe started to sing the song that he had sung for her over the last few nights.
One of the over-night nurses came in while Billie Joe was singing.
"You have a good voice" She said which startld Billie Joe.
"Thanks me and my two best friends have a band but we cant get anywhere to play"
"Well it just so happened my brother owns this club down the street and he needs some punk bands to play for him,would you be interseted?"
"Oh my god yeah!!" Billie Joe answered happily.
"Well I'll just take your name's and numbers" She said getting a piece of paper to write it down.
"Ok well theres me, Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt and we all have the same number its 555-4170"
"Well i will tell him and you got yourselves a gig next week..
