Welcome to My Little Paradise, chapter 3
"Sorry, did we interrupt something?" Jimmy asked as they all walked towards us.
"No, nothing at all," Tre and I replied at the same time. I looked at Billie and he looked like he was hurt and pissed and I wondered how much he liked me and what he would do to try get me. To tell you the truth, it scared me.
"Well lets head to your house then Billie." Jimmy said. Then like we were all robots we all started to walk towards the door, everyone except Billie.
"What? You're all going to go to my house. No one's going to question what Jimmy said. You guys are all going to become victims of authority one day and get stuck doing something you don't want to do cause someone told you to. What if I don't want you guys to come to my house?" We all stared at Billie, as far as I know he hasn't done anything like this before, but I figured he's got a point.
"Shut up Billie and grab your stuff," Mike said, "You're just wasting time with all of your crap. You've given us that speech like 50 times and we all listen. The thing is, is that sometimes the person who we follow at that point in time could be voicing something that we're all thinking so we're like he brought it up so it must be ok now. And I know I've told you that at least 40 times, and you need to listen too." I just stopped what I was doing and watch these two in their little debate. It was actually kinda entertaining cause I had never seen them like this.
"Come on guys, its no big deal right now." Tre stepped into the conversation, "Right now no one really cares, we just all want to go hang out so just drop it."
Both Billie and Mike looked at bit defeated that Tre had said this cause I think that they liked the debate, they liked to question things and argue with people when it was the right time, but apparently right now wasn't. But I personally like it, it gave me a sense of conflict, that not everything was fairytale perfect.
So again, except this time without complaints we all walked to Billie's house. Most of the time I ended up right next to Tre and I could swear that a few times he almost went for my hand, but hey my mind could be playing tricks on me. Then the next thing I know they all turn down this front driveway and I'm like ok, we must be here. It was a cute little two story that was kinda run down, the yard could do with a trim too, but it was still cute. Jimmy and all of them just walked on in. occasionally one of them would say 'Hi Mrs. A.'
As soon as we got to Billie's room I realized that I was hungry, and I mean HUNGRY because since I was hanging with them I didn't get my after school snack, call me a loser but I was hungry. So of course me being me burst out, "You got any food in this place?"
"Course, just go to the kitchen and help yourself." Billie told me and then just started talking to Jimmy about God knows what, I don't really care.
So I walked out the door and was like SHIT I don't know which way to go, so I stood there for like a minute and Tre came up behind me and said "Would you like some help?" It kinda scared me cause he came out of nowhere but then again I liked it, I mean when a guy comes behind you like that, I don't know how to describe it so I just won't attempt to. But it kinda threw me off but I realized that I should say yes after like 10 seconds of just standing there before I managed to let out a "Yes." I swear I probably looked like a moron.
So Tre put his hand around my waist and leading me down the hallway, somehow it just felt so right with his arm around me. I never ever wanted to leave his arms. And then I looked into his eyes, that was kinda a mistake, since he has these brilliant blue eyes and somehow I knew that I wanted to be with him forever, sure I had only known him for like a day but I didn't care, he just seemed so right.
