Welcome To Paradise, chapter 3
I was in Billie's class last period, Pre-Algebra to be exact. Mike and Tre had already passed Pre-Algebra, so Billie and I were alone with all the prep's. Eew.
When both of us sat down at some seats in the back of the classroom, we started talking. There was something that I had been literally dying to ask him.
"Hey Billie, earlier at lunch you told me that Lexi almost ruined your guys' lives. What did she do?" I asked.
"Um... I don't know if I should tell you... I mean, we just met. For all I know, you could be a Lexi spy. Lexi has lot's of those." Billie looked kinda intimidated.
"Billie, I promise you, I am NOT a Lexi spy," I laughed. "You can trust me." That last line was used in a very soothing voice.
He thought for a minute, and said, "Ok, I'll tell you."
I smiled as he turned to face me directly.
"Ok, so last year in 7th grade Lexi was desprately trying to get attention. She would do just about anything. She flirted with guys, and had sex with a few of them too. It was really sick to watch and hear about. She did some other things, like go for class president, which she won because she bribbed and blackmailed people to do so. In the process of doing this sick sheme, she noticed the looks that Tre, Mike, and I were giving her. They were really nasty one's, but she took them as we liked her. She would look at us frequently, but after a period of time, she would only look at me. And not just look at me, but stare at me. It kinda freaked me out. (He made a face) Then one day, she went up to me and started talking to me. I was very confused, but played along with it. After a few more days of her talking to me, she was like "Do you wanna go out with me?". She was such a temptation, with her looks and charm. I said yes. I don't know why I did it. It was so stupid. I was such a fuckin idiot. Anyways, after about an hour the whole 7th grade knew about it. All the guys were coming up to me and saying, "That's how Billie does it." And they'd give me a slap on the back. I felt like such a god. It was great, but not for long."
"One day I went into the bathroom and takin a piss. Right after, as I was still in the bathroom, I overheard some really loud girls in the bathroom. One of the voices I heard was Lexi's. One of the girls with her said, "I can't believe that Billie is falling for this!" They all laughed hysterically. Now, I am a very curious person, so I suspected that something was up. I waited in front of the girls bathroom for Lexi to come out. When she did, she saw me, kinda surprised. 'Oh, hey Bill.' she said. 'What was that in the bathroom?!' I asked, demanding a response. 'What was what?!' she asked. 'I overheard you and your friends in the bathroom. One of them said that I was falling for something. Explain now.' I was heating up inside. I knew that she had lied to me about something. 'Nothing, ok? She was just joking.' she said. It was obviously the only thing that she could think of. 'You only asked me out so you could be popular, huh?!' I screamed. 'Whatever Billie.' she said, not looking at me. "I knew it.' I screamed and stormed away, flipping her off. I told Mike and Tre, 'literally crying. I couldn't believe that slut. It was disgusting what she did to me..." Billie's voice trailed off.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Billie," I said.
He had a look of hurt in his eyes. "It's ok."
"Hey, I have an idea. Let's get her back!" A spark lit in my eyes.
He looked up and gave me an evil smile.
"Should I take that as a yes?" I said.
He nodded. I smiled at him.
