You bleed just to know you're alive (sequel to The one he would help), chapter 1

Mike walked down the street towards Billie's house. He swung his pack of beer forth and backwards and sung happily on a song Billie just had written. They were finishing their record now. All they had to do was finishing the name, and then it all began.

He turned his head around as he walked, looking at everything and everyone. Then he noticed this old woman desperately searching for something on the ground.

Suddenly she looked at him. Her eyes were light blue, the skin around her eyes looked very old. Almost like it was going to fall off.

"You need help?" Mike asked the old lady.

"Yes, in a way," she mumbled and took one step closer to him.

For some strange reason Mike became scared by this woman, and he looked around just to know if there were people nearby. He was relived when he saw that there were at least four of five full grown people there.

"What do you need my help for?"

The woman didn't answer. She just moved even closer to him. Now he could see her better. And then he saw that this wasn't an old woman at all. The skin could actually fall off if she just took it off. Before he could step away he felt something heavy bang into his back, and he fell down at the street. His head smashed down at the ground and a terrible pain rushed through him. A blue circle were keeping people away.
Slowly his eyes became darker. Mike tried to stay awake, but the pain was too much. But before he reached the total blackout he thought he noticed something. A face in the crowd that he recognised.

A pale face, much paler that the last time he saw it.

Lina looked at him with the saddest expression he had ever seen on a young girl like her.

Then she raised her hand slowly, as if she were trying to grab him.

Then Mikes eyes went black.

Billie Joe Armstrong and Tre Cool ran down the street towards the police car and the little crowd that had gathered around the one end of the street.

"MAKE WAY!" Billie shouted and made his way through the crowd.

A police officer grabbed him.

"You can't go there, we are doing some research here."

"Well what do you know?!" Billie said.

"I'm afraid I can't tell you that, sir, we have to wait till we know something for certain..."

Billie were going to shout something again, but Tre stopped him.

"Hey, we have to know, ok? He's our best friend, he's in our band, Green Day, you know us?"

The police officer nodded. He looked a little sad for them now. He saw that Tre were concerned about his friend, but Billie were almost on the edge of brake down.

"Just, please, tell us what you know?" Billie asked, his eyes were glittering.

"I will" the police officer said. "But right now you have to go back to your house and wait for me. I will come as fast as I can."

The rest of the band Green Day turned around and began walking home. They both walked in silence. Then suddenly someone stood in front of them.

"Lina?" Tre asked, even though he knew it was her. She didn't speak. She just stood there. Then a tear came streaming from her left eye. But it wasn't a usual tear. It was red. And they both knew it was warm. It was blood. Blood were streaming down her face.
