There He Goes..., chapter 6
As the years went by I saw Billie and Mike change. We still remained best friends, the only difference was that we socialized alittle more thna we used to as kids. That was normal for three 13 year olds.
As for the relationship with the three of us we all had a few secrets we kept from eachother. Billie STILL didn't know I was practicly in love with him (my "crush had grown alot), Mike had a crush on me (I could just tell, he was pretty predictable), I didn't say anything to him about it though. I didn't want to embaress him or anything. I'll wait 'till he's ready. Those were the secrets we kept from eachother basicly, everything else we knew about eachother and wanted to keep it that way forever.
It was morning and I had just gotten off the bus with Mike and BJ when someone walked up. She was the last person I wanted to see today. It was BJ's girlfriend Britt. I hated her to a T. She was extremely preppy (and I've come to learn that not ALL preps are mean but she was just URGH!), she was on the cheer squad, and she followed BJ around like a lost puppy. Oh yeah and theres one more thing, she hates me. She acts like a perfect little angel around BJ but when we happen to bump into eachother she turns into the evil green-eyed monster I've come to know her for.
"Oh, hey, Autumn" she said smiling the fakest smile I've ever seen at me. She was holding onto Bj's arm as we walked into school. If she has problems walking then she should get a wheelchair and not use my best friend, I thought with my blood boiling. I kept my temper and tried smiling back through gritted teeth.
I don't even know why she likes BJ, they have NOTHING in common at all. They belong to two different groups in the school. I guess she's just one of those girls who are attracted to the bad boys (BJ was always getting caught doing something wrong or getting detentions), well BJ was MY bad boy and no one elses.
"So what are you doing after school today Britt?" BJ asked her. I saw this sort of "I'm sorry" type of smile come on her face.
"Well I can't come with you guys today because of cheer practice, but maybe tomorrow would be okay?" she said all cheery. I wanted to slap those pompoms right out of her hands.
"Yeah sure, we're free all week" BJ said. I noticed Mike wasn't talking too much but I knew that was because he didn't like her either.
"AWSOME! I'll see you guys later!" she said happily and kissed Billie on the cheek before she went.
THAT BITCH!
I didn't go after her (suprisingly) but I just stood there with my mouth open. I could tell BJ was blushing. I really hope that was the first time anythign like that happened. Mike saw me standing there with my jaw dropped. BJ noticed too finally.
"Why do you hate her so much guys?" he asked us with pure innocence. He didn't know how terrible she could be.
"Simple BJ, she's evil" I said straight out. He laughed.
"Autumn she is not EVIL. She just isn't the person you perfer to be your friend" he aid calmly.
Oh if it was only that simple BJ. I thought.
