Torn Apart By Love..., chapter 2

I sigh, then walk in. Wondering where I am? At the local cemetery. I have relatives there.

As I walk down the gravel road, I hum "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams". After all, this is the real Boulevard Of Broken Dreams.

At last I reach the grave, and I kneel down and read what it says, aloud.

"Samuel Jakob Smith. Born 1990. Died 2005."

Tears come to my eyes at the thought. Sam was my twin brother, who died last year. He had cancer, and it was fatal. I would tell you more, but I would start crying.

"Why did you have to leave me?" I hear a voice say.

I look up to see Billie Joe, about 50 feet away from me, crying his heart out. He was at Adrienne's grave.

"Adrienne died two years ago today..." I say to myself.

I place flowers at Sam's grave, and I walk over to Billie.

"Billie? You okay?" I ask in a soft voice.

Billie turned around to see me.

"Caitlin? What are you doing here?" he asks.

"Just putting some flowers at Sam's grave," I say, standing next to Billie.

"She passed away two years ago today..." said Billie, tears filling his dark green eyes.

I put my hand on his shoulder.

"She's in a better place now. And she's up there in Heaven, watching over you and the boys," I say, trying to comfort him.

Billie smiles at me.

"We found Tre," he says, trying to change the conversation.

"How many cheeses did he have?" I asked.

"Mike estimates around 11," said Billie.

"Wow," I whispered.

All of a sudden, we burst out laughing.

We started walking down the gravel road, talking.

"So where'd you find Tre?" I ask.

"At the strip club, just like you said," Billie replied.

I smiled.

Billie sighed. I turned to look at him. The light of the moon made his sad eyes seem even more depressed. And somehow, from the moonlight, I was starting to have a crush on Billie.

"Hold on!" I said to myself.

"He's 34 years old! And I'm only 16! Besides, I like Chris already!"

"Ages don't matter in love." said a small, mysterious voice in my mind.

"So...when I called you earlier today, you sounded like you were kind of upset. Everything ok at home?" Billie asked me.

"Well...me and Chris broke up, I was kinda upset." I admitted.

"Ah," said Billie.

"Yeah," I said, kind of embarrassed that I just told Billie about Chris.

"Well, I'd better be getting home. Joey and Jakob aren't there, they're at Adrienne's mom's house, or as they call her "auntie nu-nun," said Billie.

I laughed.

"See ya," said Billie, walking ahead of me.

"Hold on!" I said.

"Yeah?" asked Billie, turning around.

"You could stay at my place for a while, my mom's not there, and we have plenty of spare bedrooms," I told him, hoping that he'd come.

"Holy fuck, I'm a teenie!" I said in my mind. And I was. I had a crush on Billie Joe Armstrong!

"Sure I'll stay at your place! I'll invite Mike and Tre over, and we'll have a party!" said Billie.

We started walking to my house, with me cussing myself out in my head, for being a teenie.

Billie went to his house and got his things, while I went home. I walk in the front door, and guess who's sitting at the kitchen table...CHRIS!

"Uh...Chris? What are you doing here?" I asked, shocked that he was here.

"The 'rents are outta town for a couple days, and Connor said I could stay here," said Chris.

I nodded and sat down.

"Cait..." said Chris, calling me by the nickname he made up for me.

"I'm really sorry about today. I shouldn't have gotten so mad, and I'd really like to be back together," said Chris.

"So would I," I said, smiling.

Chris smiled. He ran over and hugged me. We started making out, right there in the kitchen, then the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" I said, knowing that it was Billie.

I ran over to the door and opened it.

"Hey," said Billie.

"Hey Billie," I said.

Billie walked in, and I shut the door. Unfortunately, Billie walked right into the kitchen.

"Who's he!?" asked Chris, pointing at Billie.

"Oh, so you're the little bastard who dumped Caitlin!" said Billie.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" I said coming in.

"Cait, who is this guy?" asked Chris.

I sighed and hit myself in the face. I had never told Chris about Billie, Mike or Tre.

"Chris, this is Billie Joe. He's in Green Day," I said.

Chris glared at me.

"Billie, this is Chris. And we're back together," I told him.

"Oh, sorry," said Billie.

"Holy crap! Billie, he looked disappointed when I said that!" I said to myself. And I was right. Billie Joe looked really disappointed when I told him.

"Your room's upstairs, Billie," I said, walking up the stairs. Billie and Chris glared at each other, then Billie followed me up the stairs.

I showed Billie his room, then I went to mine. I herd Chris go in his room a few minutes later.

"What have I done?" I whispered.

I grabbed my cell phone, and dialed a number.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ashley," I said.

Ashley was one of my best friends, even though she lived in New York, and I'm way over here in California.

"Hey Caitlin!" said Ashley.

"I did something horrible tonight," I confessed.

"What'd ya do?" she asked.

"I brought a punk and a gangster into the same house," I said.

"What the fuck?" said Ashley.

"Chris is staying here 'cause his 'rents are outta town, and Billie Joe was lonely. So I invited him over, having no idea that Chris was staying over," I said.

"Oooooh," said Ashley.

"Exactly," I joked.

Me and Ashley talked for a while, then Ashley had to go. Stupid time zones.
