When the World Falls Down, chapter 3
"What's she doing back here?" Mike sneered playfully.
I ruffled his hair and laughed, "I feel welcome."
"Seriously baby, what happened?" Jason said while wrapping his arms around me.
"My motorcycle won't start," I whined.
"Aww baby I'm sorry," he said while hugging me. Tré gave me a funny look as I put my arms around Jason's neck.
"Yeah, the bad thing is.... I have to share a room with someone," I said while fake crying on Jason's chest.
"That's horrible," he said trying not to smile. I pinched his cheeks and he kissed me.
"Get a room!" Billie Joe yelled while laughing.
"Shut up you know you love it," I laughed.
I walk a lonely road, the only one I have ever known.
I picked up my cell phone and it was Eliza screaming in my ear.
"Val told me! Val told me! That is so cute when are you gonna get married?"
"When you leave us alone!" I yelled into the phone. Everyone looked at me strangely and I just blushed.
"Oh sorry, I'll see you later."
"You called to tell me that Val told you that I told her what you're just telling me you were told?" That got everyone confused but Adie, being a woman, understood pefectly.
"Pretty much."
"Ok dear, see you later."
"Ok bye."
Adie and I got into a giggle fit about how hard the guys were thinking about that whole discussion. After about ten minutes, Billie Joe finally got it.
"So she called to tell you what that one girl told her that you told her that she was telling you she was told?" Billie Joe said with a straight face. The rest of the guys were trying not to laugh on how quickly Billie Joe gotten it. I nodded and he just dabbled on it for a few minutes while everyone just gave up.
So we talked the whole night, even though we're adults, we played truth or dare.
"Ok Iris, truth or dare?" Tré said.
"Dare." The boys traded glances and grinned.
"Come here, I dare you to eat one of my famous food mixtures." He putted fries in a strawberry milkshake, mixed it with ketchup, then put grape and rootbeer soda into it and added some mayo, then about three tablespoons of hot sauce.
"Tré, that's cruel and unusual!" Mike yelled.
"Nah, it's ok, I guess it's better then some things my friends shoved down my throat."
I drank the milkshake with Tré waiting for my response. The hot sauce started to kick in and I could feel the steam coming out of my ears. I started coughing and laughing at the same time. Everyone else was laughing at me while Billie Joe slapped me on the back to get me to stop choking. Adie was obviously having a good time watching me cough up a lung.
"Hun, do you want a drink of my soda?" Mike said smiling. Jason gave him a cold look and I took the soda and took about 3 slurps then I was ok. Jason laughed and kissed me then got a really weird face.
"You taste really nasty," he said while sticking his tongue out in a sick motion.
"So if I asked you to make out with me right now, you wouldn't?" I teased.
"Now I didn't say that."
He kissed me and it got deeper, I pulled away. "But it wasn't an invitation."
We continued playing, it was my turn. "Billie Joe, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Other then concerts, have you ever made out with Mike?"
"That's kinda persona... yes."
"Ok, just a question."
We played for about 2 hours, when Adie started yawning Billie took action.
"Ok you guys, Adie's tired and we all should go to bed," he smiled. Jason took me by the hand and guided me into one of the many questrooms.
"This is awesome," I said while collapsing on the bed.
"Yeah, you are." I blushed at what he said and I kissed him. The kiss got deeper and deeper, I felt Jason unbuttoning my shirt and I wanted to resist but couldn't. He fiddled with my belt when I finally came to my senses.
"Jason, I like you, a lot, but we just met today, we're not ready for this." He looked a little disappointed but nodded in agreement.
"I'm sorry," he whispered. I kissed his neck and said, "it's ok, don't worry about it." He started to rub his hands on my back and smile.
"I really am tired, but why is your skin so warm when it's like negative eighty in here?" he said while looking at me. I shrugged, "it's a trait, I'm always warm on the outside but cold in the inside."
"Oh what other hidden talents do you have?"
"I'm very flexible."
"In what way?"
"Not that way you sicko!" I laughed.
"Ok, show me an example."
I stood up and did a complete back bend and Jason just looked amazed as I finally got up.
"That's so weird."
"Not so much as you think."
"I'm tired, are you going to stay up or are you going to join me on his comfy bed?" he smiled cheekily at me. I laid down and pulled the covers over me while Jason put his arm around my waist and held me close to him as we fell asleep.
My eyes didn't open up, but my ears did as everyone was discussion something in the hallway.
"Did you do anything?" Tré asked excitedly.
"No, we just met."
"Then why was her shirt and belt on the floor?" Billie Joe retaliated.
"Because we were going to but she stopped me."
"I think you're lying."
"Why?"
"Because a shirt and belt on the floor means something happened."
"I told you, we were but she stopped me."
I put on my shirt and walked out where the boys were. "What's up?" I replied groggily.
"Did you guys do anything last night?" Billie Joe said.
"Gee, you get right to the point don't you, but to answer your question, no, nothing happened."
"See?"
"Ok ok, I'm sorry, but try and keep your shirt on ok?"
"All right."
"Joey! Jakob! Get out of bed!" Billie Joe yelled out while walking away.
"Thank you so much!" Jason said while hugging me.
"Your welcome, I'm gonna go see if my motorcycle works now."
I walked out (after brushing my hair and all of that first), and walked to my motorcycle. I revved up the engine and it started. I tore down the driveway towards 'The Outsiders.'
I ruffled his hair and laughed, "I feel welcome."
