"Wow, I don't care what Billie Joe says, I'll miss you ok?" Mike smiled. Tré and Jason nodded in agreement. I hugged Mike tightly and started sobbing.
End Recap
"I'll see you in a year, be good, whip those people into shape," my friend Jessie said to me. I just nodded and hugged her tightly.
"I'll miss you, so much," I said while trying not to cry.
"Now now dear, don't cry, not for me anyway."
"Jason is coming soon, I'm gonna be a wreck."
Before we had to leave, we got an hour to say good bye to our friends and family, then I got a walkie talkie to communicate with the General of the Marines, making sure everything was fine and talk to anyone I want, make special requests from anyone I want.
"Excuse me," I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to see a handsome boy with a buzz cut look at me and instantly put his head down.
"I'm sorry Major General," he said with respect.
"Calm down son, what do you need?" I asked.
"I was wondering, if my little sister could talk to my father, who is also where we are going."
"What's his last name son?" I asked.
"Vincent Marcelie, Major General Jinx."
"Please, lead me to your sister," I said while quickly grabbing my walkie talkie. The boy lead me to a girl about 12, who was covered in black and had her head down.
"General, get Vincent Marcelie on the walkie talkie," I said to the General.
"Roger Major General, he will be here soon."
The girl looked up at me, after a minute of staring at me, my walkie talkie crackled.
"Yes Major General?" a man's voice asked.
"Is this First Class Private Vincent Marcelie?" I asked into the talkie.
"Yes Major General it is." Typical, after only two days of being Major General and I was already sick of people calling me that.
"Would you like to talk to your daughter?" I asked nicely. The girl looked up at me respectfully for the first time and I gave the walkie talkie to her. She hurriedly took it and started talking to her father. Her mother looked at me with a wide smile.
"Thank you," she mouthed. I nodded and watched the girl's eyes dance with joy as her father joked around with her and continued talking to her for almost twenty minutes. I felt a pair of strongs arms around my waist as someone was carefully biting my ear.
"Hey babe," Jason smiled at me while he kissed the back of my neck. I lolled my head back so it was relaxing against Jason's.
"Hello dear," I smiled.
"So, this is goodbye I guess?" he asked while spinning me around. Tears were brimming his eyes and I couldn't stand it.
"No, not good bye, never good bye, it's... I'll see you later."
"I'll see in a year?"
"That'll do," I chuckled while kissing him.
"Hey how about me? Don't I get a kiss?" Tré said while pulling me away from Jason towards him.
"I think Jason would be a little upset Tré," I said as he put his mouth dangerously close to mine.
"Aww no he wouldn't, come on, just one kiss?" he pouted. I looked at Jason and he just rolled his eyes but nodded with a smile, knowing I wouldn't do anything serious. Tré noticed this gesture and kissed me... hard. I tried pushing him away but he was too strong and I felt like melting in his arms. I looked around at Jason who was talking to Mike and Tré tried putting his tongue in my mouth, then I had the strength to push him away. He looked at me apologetically and I just kissed him again and walked towards Jason and Mike.
Mike pulled me into a huge bear hug, he was a tall guy with muscles, I had muscles too but I could barely breath.
"Mike dear, can't... breath," I managed to gasp out. He only loosened his hold just a bit so I could get a breath in. I slowly put my arms around his neck so he was lifting me up off the ground and hugged me tighter so I wouldn't fall to the ground.
"Hey, what's up with this? We're going to see you soon, won't we?" Jason said, his eyes still brimmed with tears.
"Aww baby don't cry, please don't," I whispered while I felt my eyes get hazy.
"I love you," he said. I looked at him strangely, as if to say what?
"What did you say?" I asked, almost not believing my ears.
"I said I love you, I've loved you ever since I saw you believe it or not, I don't care if you don't love me back, but I do love you."
"Aww Jase," I said while throwing my arms around him.
"I love you too," I said to him. We held each other for a long time before I felt a tug at my leg. I turned to see the girl give me back my walkie talkie after talking to her father for fourty minutes, only twenty more minutes to go.
"Thank you," she whispered after I put the walkie talkie in my pocket.
"It's no problem at all," I said and hugged her. Tré reluctantly took out his camera and took a picture of me and the girl hugging, then one of Jason and me hugging, then one of Mike and me. Jason took a picture of me and Tré hugging each other tightly. I looked at my watch, ten minutes, wow, this seemed to go by way too fast. Finally we just took pictures of each other, then the girl took a picture of all four of us, the film eventually went out.
"This'll be perfect for my hobby class," Tré muttered while putting his camera away. I giggled and kissed Tré and Mike's cheek, which was soaked with tears.
"Be careful out there, I don't want anything happening to you," Jason said while kissing me softly. I nodded and kissed back.
"I'll call you, I promise."
"I wish I could go with you."
"No, you don't Jason, stay here, be happy."
"But I'm gonna miss you too damn much."
"I know, I want to stay, but I have a duty to hold, think about me?"
"Every moment."
