Hitch a Ride, It'll Do You Some Good, chapter 2

...Cookies! I couldn't believe it. It had only been 10 seconds! Jeez. Billie says, "Tre! Go put all of those back!"

Tre quickly shakes his head. Billie brushes past me and slightly blushes and smacks Tre on the arm. Mike slightly giggles and whispers to me, "Ooo, someone likes you!"
And I roll my eyes and Billie signals me to follow him. We walk over to the McDonalds attached to the Wal-Mart. I see someone I recognize and I look closely and yell, "JIMMY!" and I run up and hug him.
He says, "Hey Katie, I haven't seen you in ages!"

*Billie's P.O.V*

Great. Just great. She has a boyfriend. I thought as she hugged him. She took his hand and led him over to me. He smiles and says, "Hey. I'm Jimmy."
And I nod and shake his hand and notice he has a green mohawk. I smile slightly since he reminded me of Tre.
Katie asks, "So, what did you want to talk about?"
I sigh and say, "Nothing. It's not important."
She nods slightly and pulls Jimmy back over to meet everyone else.

*My P.O.V*

I say,
"Jimmy, this is Mike, Tre, and you've met Hope."
He shakes everyones hand and I notice Tre is almost crying and I groan and say,
"Fine, Tre, go get the cookies."

He sprints over to the cookie isle and comes back with the 3 carts full over cookies. We leave a while later and Jimmy waves goodbye after i give him my number. We get about half way home when my phone rings. I pick it up and say,
"Hello?...oh, hi mom....no,why?....WHAT?!"

I hang up and get a blank look on my face. Billie asks, "What happened?"...
