Hiding True Feelings, chapter 1
I met this guy back in the early days, who I think he's just dreamy and perfect. We both like the same things in like. Same taste in music. It was all great. On his days off sometimes we would go to the movies. He enjoyed popcorn way too much. I first met him when he first tour the world in vans. Talk to him a few times a few. He would call a lot. We would hang out together as much as he could make time for.
I first bumped into Mike on a night after a show. I had my best friend there with me. She is a lot like me and she is also blonde. We were in a hurry to get home. Briggette and I wasn't watching where we was going. That lead us into bumping into this guy. He was really slim and tall. I say sorry without looking up first. He seemed very shy.
That was on the night of October ninth of 1991. Within twenty minutes of meeting he was inviting Briggette and I both over to his house. Mike was having an after show party at his house. We wrote in his BMW back to his house since us girls had walked to the show that night. The house was white on the outside and had a blue leather couch with a matching chair inside. After he got there he had introduced both of us to Tre and Billie. Billie hands us all beers. I do not like the taste of beer but I took it anyway.
After being there an hour my friend and I both had a buzz. Tre yells that we all should play spin the bottle. They bring out a full bottle of beer to play spin the bottle with Tre, Mike, Billie, Briggette, Jason and Adrienne and the few other guys and girls that were at the party. Tre had wanted to go first his turn landed on Billie. Sitting in the big circle we go around the circle after tress turn. Next Billie wanted to go and it lands on Mike. A few seconds later Adrienne goes and it lands on Jason. Next up was Briggette since she sat next to Adrienne. Her turn had led the bottle to land on Billie. I can tell she enjoy that kiss. Since I was sitting next to my very best friend in the world it was now my turn and it landed on Mike. I was happy about that I smiled and crawled over to Mike and kissed him. That kiss was great I didn't want to stop but I had to. Next was mikes turn since he had sat on the other side of Tre which caused him to go last. The bottle landed on Billie for him.
Days later it was now Halloween afternoon and Mike calls me up. The night we met after spin the bottle and all the kissing we did that night. We ended up exchanging phone numbers. He calls me up to ask me if me and some of my friends would like to go trick or treating with all of them. Tre wanted to go trick or treating which I accepted mikes offer. Billie was Peter Pan. Tre was a bumble bee. Briggette was Tinkerbell. Mike and I were both cops. His was black while mine was blue. Which neither of had planned? We all go around with pillowcases and we didn't stop till it was almost full. Tre being the big kid he is brought along a dozen of eggs to throw at cars.
Mike's Thoughts
Brittney was really easy to get along with. Everytime we had a chance to hang out it was really wonderful. I enjoyed every moment of it that I could. She was really pretty. She had long blonde hair. I night on the night of Halloween how I loved the way it blew in the air due to the wind. She looked really sexy in all her Halloween customes. What is wrong with me? Why am I having all these feelings about her? I know she don't like me the way I like her.

A year later yes once again Halloween again. Mike and I had a strong friendship. We could talk about anything to one another. This year in 1992 we had different customs. Tre was spider men. He kept spraying his web at random people that walked by. This year I brought along my other friend Jessica while the boys bring along Jason. Jason was Superman, Jessica, Briggette and I and I all dressed up as sexy kittens. Mike was a pirate. While Tre was a cowgirl and Billie was the cowboy.
It was now two years later now early 1995 it had been a slow year. Which Mike and the boys had toured most of that year and it meant I did not get to see much of them. For some reason I had missed mike a lot. I am not sure why him and I wasn't a couple. In fact we never even dated. If I i miss him that bad, what does that mean? That same year they had named there band Green day after changing it from sweet children. Changes are always good.
After Mike was home a few days from tour. One evening which happen to be on a Tuesday. He calls me up and asks me to go to the movies with him. He said he wanted to see some kind of action movie. I happily accepted and told him I would love to go to the movies with him. He picks me up at almost seven PM in his green BMW.
Brittney's Thoughts
That night at the movies in December it was two weeks before Christmas. I had notice I was started to like him more then a friend. I didn't know what to do about it. I didn't know if I should tell him. I thought to myself come on Brittney be for real. What is wrong with me of course Mike doesn't like me the way I like him? I decided to never tell him. I just sat there feeling the way I did. I did nothing at all just admired the way he looked and the way he was really into eating his popcorn.
