Silent Tears, chapter 11
*Skye's P.O.V*
Bleep. Bleep. Bleep. Bleep.
That's all I can hear.

Is it better of worse to be hearing things than to be seeing things?

I groan, and shift.
"Skye! You're awake!"
Great, it's Billie Joe. If I'm dead, then does that mean he killed himself too, and so we're both dead together.
Bleep. Bleep. Bleep. Bleep.
I sit bolt upright, I know where I am, My eyes flicker open and I'm right, I didn't die, I'm in hospital. A nurse walks in and pushes me gently back onto the pillow. "There, there. We don't want you straining yourself now, do we?"
I would beat the shit outta her, but I'm too tired.
I want to strain myself, I want to strain every muscle in my body 'till I die.
I look to my side, and as I expected, Billie Joe is sitting there, his eyes are red and puffy, like he's been crying. He's been crying?! I didn't expect that. He notices me staring. "I'm sorry, Skye, I'm really sorry." He starts crying again.
I look away, thank God the nurse buggered off, I wouldn't want her to see this.
Anyway, he's sorry for what? My mind is either in ultra slow drive, or he hasn't done anything to hurt me. I try to shift again, but there's a sharp pain in my ribs and I wince. Billie Joe sees me wince and puts his hand on mine, then it comes back to me in a flash, I remember, the knife, the blood...
I remember Mike, sitting outside a door, talking to me, saying Billie Joe was sorry...
I remember someone hitting me...
.... The pain...
.... The bruises...
.... The blood...

*Mike's P.O.V*
Skye has to be ok.
I've never seen Billie so upset. He's been so depressed these past few days, he hasn't eaten, and he had to live with me 'cause me and Tre were so scared he would slit his wrist, like Skye.
He's only know Skye a couple of weeks, and it's obvious that she is precious to him, I honestly don't think he would live long if she died.
The poor guys lost enough in this life, I don't think he would handle it if Skye died.

*Tre's P.O.V*
Skye has to be ok. She's such a bitch, but Billie Joe's become really attached. You shoulda seen him after he found out she'd been taken into hospital. He just grabbed his coat started to leave and when Mike said, "What about the show?" He just said, "Fuck the show, my daughter's dying in hospital." and he just walked out.
We're going to do the show after/if Skye pulls through. I think Billie and Mike have gone to the hospital to see her. Mike's probably having coffee, he didn't want to take Billie Joe, he thought the sight of Skye would just upset him even more.
But according to Mike, who rang five minutes ago, Billie was overjoyed to see Skye again and hear that she was much better, and should be waking up soon. I guess I'll have to get used to Skye taking priority now.
