All The Good Titles Were Taken...So We Used This One!, chapter 4
"D'you wanna put your clothes out to dry, because they are like, wet and you might just catch somethin'. Here you can borrow my bathrobe." Billie offered, kindly.
"Umm ok" replied Jamie. Billie went to get his bathrobe and Jamie went into the bathroom.
She came back and her clothes were drying on the balcony. She went and sat back on the now, kinda damp couch and looked around her. Billie joined her and gave her a passionate kiss.

"Why, do you want to go to annoy Billie, if you think he's doing what you think he's doing?" Ashley asked. Tré just smiled... an evil grin.
"For future bribery... Bring a camera!" he ordered, grinning madly. Ashley shrugged and followed Tré to the elevator. Before she knew it, Tré had picked her up in his arms, and was carrying her into the elevator. She placed her head into the curve of his shoulders and breathed what was Tré, the faint smell of alcohol and a heady scent of cologne.
***
"I could fucking kill him," Mike said angrily, kicking a trash can. "Ooo look at me I can suck my own! He needs to get a life... stupid male whore who gets horny when he sees Billie taking off his shirt!" Then he stopped, Wait that's mean on Billie. He thought. What's Billie done to me? Only left me for that Jamie, what's wrong with me? Why am I always the left out one? Man, I miss Brittany.
***
The elevator juddered to a halt and stopped at Billie's floor. Tré still carrying Ashley walked over to the door. Kicking it he shouted, "Open up!"
"Come in its open!" shouted Billie not hearing Tré's helium filled voice, and thinking it was the maid. Billie returned to Jamie's lips. Tré put down Ashley, and opened the door. For once, silence fell on Tré at the sight of his best friend having an affair.
Jamie looked up and noticed them. Poking Billie with one hand she pointed at Tré's direction open mouthed. Billie turned and his jaw dropped. Crap! was all Billie's mind could think. Jamie got off Billie's lap and closed the door.
"Hi." was all Ashley could say that wouldn't cause offence. How can Jamie be so stupid, and selfish, wait that's Jamie all over. "How come you didn't come back from the walk last night?" was Ashley's prime question.
"My presence wasn't exactly gonna be welcomed was it?" Jamie snapped.
"What are you talking about?"
"Well you sounded like you were having HEAPS of fun and I felt like I'd be disturbing." Jamie replied.
"Shit, you heard us?"
"Even England heard you!"
Ashley's face turned bright red, it was the reddest it had ever been. Tré wasn't even paying attention, probably because this happened all the time. Billie suddenly got an idea.
"Tré c'mere a minute," Billie walked into the mini-kitchen (not going into the door-frame, so unlike Mike) with a bored looking Tré in tow.
"Look, what you saw back there, wasn't what it looked like, I swear," Billie said desperately.
"Don't make me look stupid, that looked like a budding affair to me." Tré said seriously. Billie nervously let out a half-hearted laugh.

In Starbucks Mike sighed with relief. Aaah there was nothing like a coffee for lunch. Mike's phone beeped. He jumped. He opened the message.
***
Hey dude, sorry about before. Forget that; get to Billie's room, URGENTLY IN NEED OF BEST FRIEND, Tré. Mike sighed, his polystyrene cup of coffee half empty (or was it half full? Hmm) and left Starbucks. He went into the lobby and stepped the elevator. He pressed the Nº 7 and waited for the elevator to judder and take him up to the 7th floor.

"Trust me you don't want my advice. You need Mike right now." Tré said for once sensibly. Billie, who was now on his knees begging Tré not to say anything to Adrienne, looked up with tears in his eyes. Just then there was a knock on the door. Mike who was chomping on a donut and washing it down with coffee, saw Billie kneeling saw Tré standing and wondered what was going on. But then he saw a tear fall off from Billie's eye. He went over and put a hand Billie's shoulder.
"Billie, you okay?" Mike asked. After all these years, it had always been Billie that had worried about him, now it was his turn. He'd never seen Billie like this before. He always locked himself away when he cried. But what did Mike know, Billie never told him anything anymore. His train of thought was quickly averted by the two girls next door hissing at each other about last night.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Billie wiped the tear from his eye. Mike's expression was one of worry. But he helped Billie up. Tré, sensing that he wasn't wanted, went back to Ashley. As soon as Tré's back disappeared, Mike looked at Billie. Billie looked quite a state.
"What am I gonna do Mike?" Billie sighed, his voice breaking at his last word. Then for the first time after so many years, the two best friends shared a hug. When they parted, Billie had stopped crying, but the tears were still in his eyes.
"Well I can't really help you until I know what's wrong," Mike whispered. Billie looked up into Mike's eyes guiltily.
"Well... " Billie told Mike everything. Mike listened carefully, nodding in all the right places. When Billie finished Mike sighed.
"Why do you do this to yourself Billie?" he started. "Personally, I don't think Adie will find out unless you tell her. As annoying as he may be, I don't think Tré will say anything, and I won't, and I doubt Ashley OR Jamie would. Now snap out of it, I don't think people will think you as Rock's Bad Boy if they see you crying. And we have a concert later. Let's go get psyched up huh?"
"Umm ok" replied Jamie. Billie went to get his bathrobe and Jamie went into the bathroom.
