A Day In The Life Of A Green Day, chapter 1
Billie Joe walked out of his bedroom and into the apartments kitchen!
He sighed as he remember his times when he had a kick ass band…the memories haunted him…
There was wacky Tré, the drummer and Kinki side of the band.
Mike, the backing vocals and bass, the brooding and more supporting side.
And himself, the leading vocals and guitar, the one everyone looked at as god (except for the Tré and Mike fans).
He grabbed a beer out of the fridge and sat down on his couch…he turned on the tube to view a cartoon about some sorta dog.
His mind barely concentrating on anything but his life he used to have.
He wished he could have it back. That it would come back.
But they were all caught up in their own lives…
Mike had his daughter and fiancé to look after and was already in another band.
Tré-wait aminute Billie had forgotten about him, he didn’t look as though he was doing anything!
Billie Joe picked up the phone and dialled his number…waited…and waited…but there was no answer!
“Damn it!� Billie cursed, he got up and walked off in to his bedroom again!
Billie Joe walked out in his black pants and shirt, he put on his jacket and walked out of the lonely empty apartment!
He just remembered it was his turn to take out the kids Joseph and Jakob…Adrienne his ex would be soo mad at him and wouldn’t let him see them if not.
He walked out to his ford Fairlane; its hood down in the sun.
Billie Joe hopped in, and drove off on the road…he looked at the shops and the people in them, they were lucky and had everything they had before from Billie Joe’s point of view…
The sun blaring its hot rays of light above the big town.
The time it took to get to his old home wasn’t long, he parked the car on the drive and walked up to the door.
He knocked…it was answered by a rugged looking man…
“Erm…are the kids ready?� Billie asked feeling uncomfortable at the state of the guy.
Adrienne walked up and the guy disappeared inside… “Hi. Yeah they’re ready, c’mon guys!� she shouted through the house.
She turned to face him again, “so you doing okay?�
“Ah, well that depends on what okay means…and who’s that guy?� Billie asked leaning up against the wall.
“Oh him? He’s my fiancé.� She stated.
Billie Joe had lighted a fag moments before and coughed on the nicotine air that filled up his lungs-the shock too much!
“What?� he asked, his eyes watering.
She looked at him and cringed, “I left a message on your answer machine Billie.�
He didn’t know what to say she had only been his wife acouple of months ago and was getting married again already!
“Sorry I guess my life got in the way of yours,� he criticised, “I mean how long have you two even known each other?�
Her eyes flared in anger, “for your information that’s got nothing to do with you!�
“Yes it has, I need to know for my boys sake! If you won’t tell me they will, you know that’s for sure eighty!�
She suddenly calmed down and looked at the doorstep, “we’d been going out since…two weeks before you and me broke up…�
Billie Joe’s mouth dropped open in total shock!
“You…and him-had been…oh my god Adrienne! You cheated on me? You were having an affair with that fucker?� he yelled!
The boys just walked out, and Billie Joe just walked off to the car, they followed.
That afternoon him and the boys were at a mall, spending quality time together.
“So…do you like the man that mommy’s going to marry?� he asked licking his banana-flavoured ice cream.
Jakob shook his head as he too licked his ice cream.
Joseph pulled a face, and made Billie Joe laugh.
“That’s what I like to hear!� he laughed.
Then someone tapped him on the back, Billie Joe looked at the reaction on his kids faces; they were happy!
He turned around to see Tré standing there!
“Hello, hello, hello! What you been doing Mr Armstrong? Been green today?� he asked making an impression of an English policeman!
Billie Joe stood up and literally leapt into a hug with Tré, “Tré I haven’t seen you in months!� he yelled in excitement!
“Well…I have been out a lot lately, looking for love…� he tested Billie Joe’s temper with this joke.
Billie Joe smiled, “funny, you always were and are the funny one. Erm…you wanna try and start again? The band?� he asked curiously.
Tré sat down and frowned, “no…no I don’t think so…im sorry Billie Joe…I truly am…�
Billie Joe’s smile vanished…he sat down too, his hands on his head…�its okay…I guess we just weren’t meant to be…�
Then Tré poked his head around Billie’s arm and said with a smile, “I was only joking! Sure ide love to!�
Billie Joe sat up like a bullet had just missed him, “really? Whoo-Hoo! Let’s go and convince miko!� he yelled!
Jakob and Joseph had run after them laughing at their father’s actions!
