It's a Hard Life, chapter 10

Alicia returned about ten minutes later with a phone number in hand.

"Well Adrienne my gorgeous. I love you and I best be off for some important matters to attend to," she said in a British male accent "Will you be able to with stand the horrible consequences of my absence?"

Adrienne laughed "Yes Alicia of course. I have security."

"I best be off then madam. Bye hun I love you take care," she said giving Adrienne a hug good-bye.



**11:00 pm. Adrienne is sleeping**

-ring ring!.......ring! ring!-


"Hello?" Adrienne sleepily and calmly answered the phone

"Hello Adrienne..." A sly sick voice said on the other end

Her eyes grew wide. She gasped and sat up quickly in shock. Adrienne flicked the security button and continued to do so.

"I have her."

"Who?"

"Alicia..." he said coldly

Adriennes heart began to race.

Security was coming up the stairs.

"ADRIENNE!" called a faint shriek from the other end.

"LET HER GO! NOW!!" Adrienne screamed into the phone hanging up right as the security officers ran through the door.

"Miss?"

"He's back...." Adrienne said with tears down her eyes.
