*A few months later*
Adrienne walked up the church corridor. Tears silently fell form her eyes. She didn't want this...not at all. She held her bouqet of flowers tight as she slowly walked up towards the man she hated the most. Many people she knew and people who Billie knew stared at her from the pews. Only Adrienne's near and very close friend Alicia knew her secret. She was the only one who knew those tears would fall and that they were there.
Billie stood next to the priest. He smiled more and more as she got closer. She stepped up the few small steps. The priest went on and on. He finally reached the "I do's"
"Do you Billie Joe Armstrong, take this women to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do." smiled Billie staring into Adrienne's eyes
"Do you Adrienne Nesser, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
Adrienne thought for a moment. She store at Billie who was nodding yes. A million questions ran through her mind. She dropped her bouqet.
"No.." she whispered
"What?" asked Billie
"No....." she repeated quietly as tears fell
She ran down the corridor and when she reached the doors at the end she turned around.
"And I'll tell you why...." she paused "I could never marry any sick man such as himself."
She ran out. Billie chased after her.
"ADRIENNE!" he called as Adrienne disappeared into a local small forest
