*Adrienne POV*
I woke up to see Alicia next to me fast asleep. Man shes such a good friend. My head hurts..my body hurts. Ugh. Can't wait till I get outta here...no sorry I take that back because Billie might hurt me again.
*Normal POV*
Alicia woke up to see Adrienne staring at her.
"Good morning." Alicia smiled happy to see Adrienne consious and some what well looking.
"Hi...my body hurts," laughed Adrienne.
"Well I got Billie arrested...long story dont ask. He won't be hurting you anymore. Adrenaline hit me like no other."
"Thank god! I was just thinking about him and what would happen if I left the hospital," Adrienne sighed.
Alicia and Adrienne just made small talk when the doctor walked in.
"Hello Miss Nesser...and friend. I'm doctor Phillips."
"Hello," Alicia and Adrienne both replied.
"Umm after a few test we quickly ran on you while you were unconsious it seems your body has had alot of trauma. It all healed quickly though. Over between each one," the doctor explained not lifting his eyes from his clipboard.
"Not fast enough last night," Adrienne chuckled rubbing her arm.
"Heh heh. You seem quite chipper for someone in this state and situation."
"As long as the bastards in jail I'm good."
The doctor nodded his head and just quickly checked the IV level and drip.
"Okay well...perhaps a few nights maybe two or three shall be good? Just so we can make sure that everythings okay. Your X-rays shown that multiple ribs were broken in the past and an arm."
Adrienne nodded.
"It seems that you drink alot of milk," the doctor laughed.
"Yeah. It's a good thing I listened to my momma...did you?"
"Of course," the doctor stated, "well I best be off to check on some others. Have a good rest."
"Goodbye and thank you," Adrienne said.
Alicia turned to Adrienne and winked. Adrienne stuck her tongue out at her.
"Not gonna happen," she giggled.
"Who says you're going to go after him?" Alicia asked her raising an eyebrow.
"Pfft. I should have known." Adrienne rolled her eyes as Alicia got up and scooted down the hall after the doctor.
