Adopted, chapter 1

November 19, 1990
I woke up to another boring day of drawing pictures of what I thought Mom and Dad looked like. I started drawing with charcoal. "...Helena Duestac. Shes 10 years old. Marva will give you more information," I heard Miss Killka say. I looked out of the corner of my eye. Some one could be adopting me! I went back to drawing. Some one tapped my shoulder. I turned and saw a guy and a girl. "Hi!" I said happily. "Hello, Im Adrienne Nesser, and this is my boyfriend Billie Joe Armstrong," the girl said. "Were going to be your new parents," Billie Joe said. If possible, my smile got bigger.
5 Months Later
I was really happy. Today I would go live with Adrienne and Billie Joe! I carefully packed everything into my trunk. I was sitting on it at the train station, thinking about my new life. When the train got there, I got on it. I looked outside. So fast went the trees. I got out my drawing pad and settled on a little boy reading a book. I finished and got out my book. "Companion Library" volume 3. I yawned as I started reading the Prince and the Pauper. The train stopped and I got out. I grabbed my trunk and pulled it out. I sat down on a bench and waited. "Helena! Helena!" I heard. I turned my head. I couldnt see so I got on my trunk. I saw a hand waving. I ran to my friend Gerard, who was 3 years older than me. I hugged him and he asked, "Have you been adopted?" I nodded. "Who?" "Adrienne Nesser and Billie Joe Armstrong," I replied. He nodded. "I hear they're nice people." I got back to the bench. Gerard sat next to me. I heard Adrienne call my name. I saw her and ran to hug her. I hugged her and introduced her to Gerard. They helped me carry the trunk to the car. I hugged Gerard goodbye and got in. "Thank you for adopting me!" I said happily. "I am too. Whatcha wanna listen to?" she asked. "Hmm, whatcha got?" I replied. "I got the Ramones, Road to Ruin, I got Never Mind The Bollocks by the Sex-" she began. "Never Mind The Bollocks!" I said. She put it on and we talked. We stopped in front of a big house. 'Wow,' I thought. Billie Joe came out to help us. I smiled. We pulled the stuff up to my room, which was huge. If I can, Ill describe it. Pale blue walls, (a bathroom with a bathtub half the size of the room, a sink, and a tiolet), a blue bed with a gold frame, a brown hickory-nut wood desk with a matching chair, a huge walk in closet, a pale blue dresser, another matching desk where there was a computer, a bedside table, another walk in closet where there was 4 microphones, 4 marshall stacks, a blue Fender Mustang, a red and black Fender Jagstang, a white Gibson Les Paul, a red and black Fender Strat, a green Telecaster, a lot of prescision basses (all guitars and basses were on a long guitar holder), a blue drumset, a lot of picks and drumsticks, and last but not least, CDs on a huge rack. Did I mention there were many posters everywhere? Anyways, I unpacked and came downstairs. I thanked Adrienne and Billie Joe, and we ate dinner.
