THE AMERICAN IDIOT, chapter 1
Jimmy and his friends Charlotte, Lee and Adel were all in a band called
Americn idiots. Jimmy was 17, Charlotte AKA Lottie was 18, Lee was 18 and Adel was 17. They were on their way to do one of their biggest gigs, in front of 3,000
people!
"Jimmy! come on were gonna be late!" yelled Lottie.
"Okay Charlotte! chill I can't find my-"
"NOW!" Lottie cut in. "OKAY Lottie! I can't find my guitar case.... Oh here it is!"
Jimmy yelled back. Jimmy had brown spiky hair and brown eyes, he was the bass giutarist in the band. Lee had black spiky hair and pale green eyes, he wore thick black eyeliner and was he lead singer in the band. Adel had long brownish red hair and blue eyes, she was the drummer. Charlotte had long wavy black hair with thin blonde streaks and green eyes, she was the guitarist and sung some of the vocals.
"Dude, you try too much to look like Billie Joe!" Adel laughed.
"Yeah well you try too hard to look like that skater chick.... Avril Lavigne!" Lee shot back. "I do not!" Adel said quickly.
"C'mon guys the limmo is here!" Jimmy said coming down the stairs.
"LETS GO GUYS!" Lee cheered!
*Arrival*
"Here are your dressing rooms... hurry now or you'll be late." said the organizer.
Jimmy was the first to be ready, he went into Lottie's room and had a surprise.
"Jimmy... what the fuck are you doin' in here?" Charlotte said quickly, hiding something behind her back. "You okay Lottie? Looks as if you seen a ghost?"
"Uhh.... Yeah... I'm fine.... Just nervous thats all..." Charlotte stuttered. She was lying, Jimmy could always tell when she was lying. "Yeah..OK Whatever... but whats behind your back?" There was a small silence. "oh... Okay! Its drugs.... I'm sorry Jimmy.. I couldn't help myself! But please don't tell Lee and Adel!" Lottie pleaded.
"HOW COULD YOU LOTTIE! YOU SAID YOU HAD NO FUCKIN MONEY!" Jimmy yelled at the top of his voice. "Hey... you guys okay?" Adel walked in, Charlotte shot Jimmy a look as if to say 'please don't tell her!' "Yeah, everythings fine." Jimmy tried to crack a smile.
*On stage*
"OKAY ALL YOU FUCKERS! LETS HERE SOME FUCKIN NOISE!!!" Lee screamed into the mic. The crowd went wild.
As the start of the last song played, Charlotte looked at Jimmy and mimed the word 'sorry'. Jimmy looked away.
"How could you do this to me, I thought you loved me, cause I've always loved you." Lee sung the last words into the mic, then walked off stage. Jimmy avoided Charlotte for the rest of the night. Charlotte was really upset, and wished that she'd never done it. But there was no turning back now.
