The best love she ever had, chapter 12
"Billie!" I yell out loud, pushing Mike off of me.
I look at my phone '6:49pm'.
"I have to go." I jump out of the bed and out of Mike's house.
I pull up, seeing Billie's car nowhere.
"Thank god he stay's later than Mike and Tre."
I run in the house and clean it up, then proceed to cleaning myself up.
"Hey baby!" Billie appears out of nowhere.
"Wow I didn't even hear-" Billie cuts me off, kissing me and pulling me over to the bed.
"Are you okay?" I say between kisses.
"Yep, WONDERFUL!"
I push him off me.
"Okay...why? Did something good happen at work?"
"Who cares!" Billie says, ripping off his t-shirt.
This was too strange, Billie's never been like this.
He couldn't just be drunk...he gets tired and mad, not happy and energetic.
And then I realised. I put my hands in his pockets, searching for anything to show if I was right. I pull out my left hand and there's a wad of money...with speed in a little bag. I throw it at him and run into the bathroom.
I really had to fight the urge to hit him. Ugh. Suddenly I understood why Adrienne divorced him. I took my phone out of my pocket and called up Mike.
"Hey, can you come pick me up?"
"Ok sure, why? What's the matter?" Mike says, sounding worried.
"I'll tell you later. See you in a few."
I hang up and compose myself. I open the door and see Billie standing right in front of me.
"Come on baby, what's the matter?"
I push him out of my way and grab my purse, running out the door.
I walk up the driveway and sit in front of one of the poles, just incase Billie look's for me. A few mintues later Mike shows up and we head to his house.
"Okay, tell me what happened," Mike says as we sit down on his couch.
"Um, Billie came home all energetic...I knew something was weird so I looked in his pockets...and I found speed."
Mike looks down and shakes his head. "Oh god Billie..."
"Well, whatever. Let's do something fun," I say, smiling.
"What? Aren't you upset?"
"Well yeah, but I'm done with crying over him. It's a waste."
Mike give's me a weird look.
"Whatcha looking at valley girl?" I say, giggling.
"That's it!" Next thing I know Mike was picking me up and throwing me on the other couch and poking me.
I tried to poke back but I was losing miserably. We wrestled for a while until all of our energy was gone.
"...you're still a valley girl," I said, jumping on top of him and holding his hands back against the couch.
"I WIN!!!"
"You know I could easily push my hands up. But I won't, because I'm nice."
We sat there laughing for a minute, when suddenly something in me snapped.
I let go of his hands and wrapped them around his neck, and we kissed.
For quite a while.
I woke up in Mike's bed, hearing him talking downstairs. I pull my hair into a ponytail and walk downstairs into the kitchen.
There I see Mike and Billie, sitting on the table.
"Hey baby..." Billie says, looking kind of scared at me.
"Hi." I grab a bottle of orange juice and set it on the counter.
"Um...if you want...but you dont have too...I have something for you, but you have to come to the house...it was too big to bring here."
I look at Mike and he nods and smiles.
"Ummm, ok." I go upstairs, put on some fresh clothes, and walk back down.
We get back home and Billie and I sit on the couch in front of the television.
"Okay so, it wasn't really too big...I just didn't want to do it there." Billie grab's his accoustic guitar, placing it in his lap.
"I wrote a song for you...I was up all night. Here it goes."
He strums slowly, and then begins to sing.

Billie smiles back. "I have another surprise."
"Mmm what's that?"
Billie sit's closer to me, pressing his lips against mine.
"Booo. I've had this surprise already," I say, laughing.
