*Arriving in Ireland, Friday evening*
"Well Mike, you ready to go?" I asked as I led him to my car; he nodded and threw an arm around my shoulders. We threw the suitcases in the boot of the car, and I got in the driver's seat,
"Don't worry, Mike, I am actually a good driver," I smiled and started the car.
*Pulling into the street at Steph's house*
"Well Mike, let's go say hello to the family, and then I'll take you to see Jo," I smiled as we got out of the car. He nodded and grabbed my hand.
We walked into the house,
"Mum, Dad, Cathal, twits, banana," I yelled as we walked into the kitchen.
"Stephanie, what are you doing home? You aren't supposed to be home till Friday," Dad smiled as we walked in. I looked over at Cathal.
"You didn't tell them?" I asked; he shrugged and hugged me, then left. Hannah ran and jumped into my arms,
"Banana," I yelled, hugging her tightly,
"I missed you," I said. She smiled.
"Did you bwing me somfin back?" she asked; I smiled and nodded, I ruffled the twits' hairs and smiled at Mum and Dad.
"Everyone, this is Mike Dirnt," I smiled as Dad shook his hand and looked at me.
"Steph, you do realize that's the guy off your wall?" he asked; I nodded.
"Yeah, I've been bunking at his house, and now I'm returning the favour, he's gonna stay here for a while, and don't worry, he can have my room," I said, and led him up to my room,
"You can have the bed, mate," I smiled. He nodded.
"I like the room, Steph, it's very...you," he smiled.
"And I don't mind sharing with you, but if it's too much, I can always get a hotel."
I shook my head. "Na, you can stay here," I said.
*Monday morning*
I walked into the school and headed to the office.
"Hi Mrs. Doran, can I go see Mr. O'Doherty? He said he wanted me to drop in as soon as I got back," I smiled.
She nodded. "Yeah, he's in there, just knock," she smiled. Just then, my phone beeped; I pulled it out of my pocket,
Hey Steph, I'm gonna stay at Jo's for a few nights, I'll see u soon, enjoy school, luv Mike x
I smiled, and put my phone on silent. I knocked on the door to the office, and walked in.
"Hi sir," I said and walked down towards his desk.
"Hi Steph, welcome back," he smiled, and put his hand out for me to shake. I smiled to myself and extended my arm; he smirked,
"So, what happened to you, then?" he asked,
"My last day in America we went go-carting, and I was racing Tré, and he caused me to crash into a wall at top speed, it was so cool," I smirked, biting my lip.
He shook his head. "Okay then. So, did you get much of the work set done?" he asked. I nodded,
"Yeah, all of it," I smiled,
"The guys were really understanding and sorted out a room for me at the studio, for me to study," I smiled.
He nodded. "Okay then, now I've seen you, go on and get ready for class," he smiled and stood up, showing me out.
I ran from the office and up to the library. I snuck down the back, waving at Mr. Wilkins on the way past.
"Hey guys, did you miss me?" I smiled, Cara, Orla, and Darren looked up, shocked, and ran over, all three hugging me at once, then we all sat down again.
Orla gasped, and pointed at me.
"What?" I asked innocently. She just gasped again.
"You did it," she whispered,
"Did what?" Cara asked, confused,
"Did IT!" she exclaimed again, my face fell,
"How do you know?" I asked. Darren was now sitting with his hands over his ears, humming to himself, and Cara was still confused,
"Guys, will someone please tell me what's going on?" she said, pleadingly.
Orla turned to her,
"Well Cara, when a man loves a woman..." she started; Cara gasped.
"You didn't!" she said, turning to me. I blushed and nodded slightly. Cara stood up, shook her head and stormed out of the library. Orla turned to me,
"You did Tré, didn't you?" she smirked. I looked at her shocked,
"No, okay, so he is a horny idiot, but I met a guy, Bobbi, and I sort of fell for him," I shrugged, Orla shook her head.
"Fell into bed with him, more like," she said. I shrugged and smiled.
*Beeeeeeeep*
"Well, that's the bell, off to class," Mr. Wilkins said as he ushered us out of the library,
"We'll talk about this later," Orla said as I walked off to form class to see my form teacher taking the roll. I smiled at her,
"Welcome back, Stephanie, enjoy your holiday?" she said,
"It wasn't a holiday, but yes, I enjoyed my work experience," I said to her. She just nodded; I went and sat down.
I had to explain to everyone about my broken wrist and the stitches, but still couldn't say a thing about the video, or about Green Day, and I had to let Orla and Darren know what happened, but Cara wasn't talking to me now. She doesn't believe in sex before marriage, and all this happened before lunch.
*Lunchtime*
"So, you're saying that the guy works for them?" Orla asked as we sat in the lunch room.
"Yes, I've told you a million times, he's their pa, and I picked him for the video, and we hit it off. That's it," I said.
"So, that's it. Are you gonna ever see him again?" she asked,
"I don't know, we left it as if you wanna..." I smiled. The door opened and Cara walked in and sat beside Orla. I smiled at her.
"Cara, are you gonna act like this for much longer?" I asked; she threw me a dirty look and opened her lunch.
"Cara, it's really nothing to do with you. I just thought you were a better friend than to act like this," I said. She looked away. I stood up,
"I think you're just acting like this 'cause you've had a boyfriend for longer than me, and I did it before you, you're jealous," I smiled and walked out of the room.
I walked down the stairs quickly, duty in five minutes. I saw a boy in normal clothes, looking rather lost on the stairs between the third and fourth floors. I walked up behind him.
"Can I help you? You look lost," I smiled.
He slowly turned around. "Jesus, your school is huge," he smiled, pulling me into a strong hug.
"Bobbi, what are you doing here?" I smiled. "I mean it's great that you are here, but why?" I asked.
"BJ said that 'cause I've been working so hard the past month, I can have a few weeks off, and then handed me tickets for a plane here," he smiled. I hugged him again and kissed his cheek, then stepped back.
"Well, I have to do grounds, but you can come too if you want. If anyone asks, I'm showing you round," I smiled, taking his hand and leading him outside.
...
"Well, I have to get back to class now. I finish at 3:30. Where are you staying, and I'll meet you there?" I said to Bobbi as the bell rang out, signaling end of lunch.
"I'll meet you here, at the gate then," he smiled and leaned in to kiss me. I pulled away.
"Bobbi, I can't. You aren't even meant to be here, but I'll see you at three thirty," I smiled and winked at him before running up the walks and into the school.
I ran into biology a few minutes late.
"Sorry miss, I was ahm, helping a first year," I said and made my way to my seat.
"That looked like an old first year, by the way," Orla whispered, smiling a little,
"You saw?" I asked; she nodded.
"I see everything," she whispered in a creepy, evil voice and smiled.
*Three thirty*
"Orla, why are you insisting on following me everywhere I go today?" I asked rather impatiently. Orla had been following me around ever since biology.
"Well Steph, I already told you, I wanna meet your new beau, give him the once over," she smiled. I stopped walking and turned to face Orla.
"Look, firstly, he is not my 'new beau', he is a guy that I met in America that I want to see how it goes with, and secondly, I'll let you guys meet him when I know what's going on with me and him, so I would greatly appreciate it if you would get off my tail," I said to her, a little louder than I originally planned. Just then, Cara walked past and smirked, but didn't stop or say anything, she just kept walking. I turned to Orla again.
"I'm sorry, it's just...jet lag and a shit-load of feelings I don't know how to deal with, forgive me?" I asked; she smiled and nodded.
"Of course I'll forgive you, now let's go meet Bobbi," she smiled. I groaned and walked on down the walks.
"Shit!" I practically yelled,
"What is it? Didn't he show?" Orla asked, as she almost bumped into me. I gulped and gasped, pointing towards the gates.
"Orla, please tell me why Mrs. Reynolds is standing talking to Bobbi?" I said in disbelief. Orla smiled a little,
"Well, as much as I want to meet Bobbi, there's my bus," she smiled and ran off towards the bus bay.
I stood there, just watching my biology teacher and my possible boyfriend having a very long conversation, then snapped out of my trance, straightened out my uniform, and walked quickly down to where they were standing.
"Hi babe," he smiled and wrapped his arms around me. I, of course, immediately blushed.
"Hi Bobbi," I smiled slightly as he kissed my cheek.
He turned to me. "This is my great-aunt's, nephew's, sister-in-law," he smiled, motioning towards Mrs. Reynolds. I smiled.
"Yes, Bobbi, but I also teach Miss Saunders here biology. So, how do you two know each other?" she asked. My face fell a little,
"We...ahm...we met in America," I stumbled out,
"Actually Mo, we were working together and sort of hit it off, so I flew halfway around the world to see my girlfriend," Bobbi smiled; I blushed.
"Oh, that's so sweet," Mrs. Reynolds smiled. "Well I'll leave you two to it, I have to go collect the kids. Steph, don't forget about that test you have tomorrow, and Bobbi, give my best to Alice next time you see her," she smiled and walked off.
"Why on Earth did you tell her that?" I said to Bobbi after she got out of earshot.
"Well, would you have preferred it if I had said 'we slept together a few times, and I wanted to see how she was'?" he asked.
I smiled. "No, I prefer it the first way," I smiled. "Now, shall we go?" I asked. Bobbi lifted my school bag, and we walked off.
"Well Mike, you ready to go?" I asked as I led him to my car; he nodded and threw an arm around my shoulders. We threw the suitcases in the boot of the car, and I got in the driver's seat,
