For All In Love and Death., chapter 2
Johnny's POV
I was dragged up out of her hallway and out the front door. My life, my past and my future laid in her hands and she through at me. My eyes were so full of tears that I couldn't see who was dragging me down the garden path. I felt myself connect with a car door. I didn't care, all I wanted was Kimberley. Nothing else mattered.
I was thrown into the car and my face planted with the seat. I let my pain out and the tears rolled into the cotton. I wiped my tears away to see who's car I was in. I looked up noticed the seats were blue cotton and a metal fence looking thing divided the back of the car to the front. I realized I was in a cop car. I flung my face into the seat again and let out a long painful sigh. My eyes felt salty and my mouth was dry. Kimi was my life and I couldn't live without her. The girl I cheated on her with was at a party and I was drunk and had no idea I would end up in cop car leaving her house single and not have a second chance. My eyes filled up again as one of the cops jumped in the car. He looked back at me and gave me a sly look. I knew him. The constable and me have had a bit of past together.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't little Johnny. I was wondering when I was gonna see you again," The constable gave me a hard look.
"Well it hasn't been that long, constable. Or should I call you 'Little Timmy'?" The hard look fell from his face. He got out the front seat, opened my door and hit me in the face. I felt my jaw crack and pain surged through my head.
"Constable, what are you doing?" Asked the other cop. I never seen this cop before but he sure seemed to know what he was doing.
"I thought we weren't allowed to hit the criminals. Especially when really he did nothing," The other cop said. Tim's face went sour and got into the front seat. The other cop followed.
"Well, your mother has come to bail you out. Ready to go?" Said the sergeant. I walked over to the gates as the sergeant unlocked it.
"Be good. Don't keep doing this, mate," I nodded to what the sergeant said. When Mum saw me she gave me a worried look.
"What did you do this time?" she asked. I looked up so she could see the mark the constable gave me. He mouth fell open. I opened my mouth and told her the whole story. At the end her mouth stayed open.
"You didn't explain how you got that nasty black eye," Mum said. I breathed in slowly.
"I got it from the bumpy ride. Don't worry about it," I could she didn't believe me.
"Tell me the truth, Jonathan," I took another deep breath, but this time from frustration.
"Mum, I told you not to worry," I walked to her car and opened the front door. Mum followed me and slammed the driver's side door shut.
"I know you're lying and you will tell me what's going on Jonathan!" Mum yelled in my ear. I slammed my hand on the dash.
"Tim hit me, Mum!" Mum went silent. Her mouth was opened and her breathing was uneasy.
"Sorry, Mum. I really am. Let's just get home." Mum turned to the steering wheel and started the car.
I walked in the front door. Tim was sitting on our lounge. I bent my head and tried to walked upstairs unnoticed, but he saw me.
"What did you do today Jonathan? Oh, I remember you were stuck in a cell most of it," Tim chuckled to himself as I walked up stairs. I got to my room and slammed the door behind me. The sunset shone in my room. It was getting dark quickly so I turned on my light. I lied back on my bed. Pictures of Kimi and me were all over my walls and pasted to my eyelids. I wanted her back. My head spun and I came up with an idea. I grabbed my pen and notebook and started to write a song. Just for her. Just for Kimi.
I woke up with my face plastered to the paper. Someone was knocking at my window. I sat up and walked over to it.
"Johnny, is that you?" Nikie whispered. I could not believe my eyes.
"What the bloody hell are you doing here?" I said back. She pointed behind her. I struggled to see but I could make out who it was.
"Kimi?" I asked. Nikie nodded.
"Come on, we have to go," Kimi said from the darkness.
"I'll be out in a sec." I grabbed my jeans and t-shirt and tip toed down the stairs. Tim and Mum were asleep on the lounge. I grabbed my bag and opened up the door.
"Where do you think your going?" Tim croaked. I felt my eyes bulge out of my head with amazement.
"Out" I said trying not to wake Mum. Tim gave me a stern look and walked up stairs. I went to the fridge and pulled out 3 bottles of beer and went out side.
"What took you forever?" Nikie asked. I looked at Kimi who had her face focused on the ground.
"I got beer. Why did you call the cops?" I asked Kimi. Her eyes sparkled in the light. For a second I thought they were tears but she looked at the ground.
"You wouldn't get out of my house. I'm sorry, I was just...emotional," She looked at me and they were tears. I felt my eyes fill again as well.
"I'm so sorry, Kimi. I really am. Please forgive me," A look of uncertainty swept over her tear ridden face. My heart pounded loud and tears ran down my face like rain falling from the sky.
"Can I ever trust you again?" Kimi asked. Her tears becoming more heavy and flowing.
"Yes! Yes!" I sobbed. She grabbed me and pulled me into a deep hug. I felt a wieght lift off me
