For All In Love and Death., chapter 3
Kimi's POV
I walked down the road with my ex. I couldn't believe Nikie talked me into it. 'Oh you should just say you're sorry for ringing the cops. Go on do it!' and mum wasn't much help either. So I agreed and now I'm with my best mate and my ex and walking to our usual hangout.
"Why did you call the cops?" I heard from Johnny.
"You wouldn't get out of my house. I'm sorry," I answered. Next minute I had tears running down my eyes and Johnny was begging for forgiveness.
"Can I ever trust you again?" asked as my solemn tears turned to sobs.
"Yes! Yes!" I felt myself grab Johnny and hug him. He trembled at my touch and grabbed me back. He sobbed into my chest. And I sobbed on his shoulder. Nikie sat and watched. I felt her eyes linger over me and she turned to sit on the gutter.
"Hey Johnny, isn't that Tim?" Johnny looked up.
"YES RUN!" He screamed. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up a footpath. I looked behind us to find Nikie leading him in the opposite direction. I was thankful and told Johnny we were fine. He took me to behind a tree.
"I'm so sorry. Really I am. If I could turn back time I would and to prove it I would kill myself. But that means I would never see you again and I would be lost for eternity," Johnny whimpered on me shoulder. I leant back my head and let tears slide of my face.
"I... . I forgive you," I whispered. He looked at me. His face cleared up a bit but our tears had turned to laughs and soon we were sitting in each other's arms.
Nikie was running at full speed towards Johnny and me. She stop with a halt and gasped for air.
"He's coming. Get up. NOW!" she screamed. I jumped up and Johnny was right by my side.
"Get runnin'. Go now," She gasped. Johnny grabbed my arm and ran of in a direction. He had no idea were we were going but we just had to get out of here. We came to a familiar road and ran up the street.
"Why's Tim after us?" I said. Johnny pulled me up the grass and ran into an ally way.
" Mum and him are together right, but he wants me out of that house. And he's ok with Jamie and Fred but because I'm the oldest I have to go. Plus me and him have a history with him bein' a cop and all," I stared at him.
"What has us running away from him got anything to do with that?" I asked.
"Well if he can tell my mum and 'find' me doing something wrong I'll be out on my ass like a flash. He's already hit me today," he answered. 'It still makes no sense' I thought to myself.
"KEEP RUNNING! HE'S COMIN'" I heard Nikie yell. Johnny ran out on to the street.
"HELP US!" He yelled, but no one pulled up.
"Damn it! Come on were headin' back to house. I'll grab some stuff and were going," He ran up the road just as Nikie caught up.
"Come on girls," Johnny said. He looked rather pissed off so we ran after him.
"What's the plan?" Nikie asked halfway up the road.
"We're leaving. Keep runnin," Nikie kept running but I was getting really worn out.
"CAN WE STOP?" I yelled out. Johnny turned on his heel.
"Jump on my back!" Johnny Yelled. I jumped up on his back and he started running. It was a bumpy ride but it was much better then running at a slow speed.
Johnny's POV
I ran up my front stairs. I looked behind me and saw the sky becoming lighter. I took a deep breath and walked in.
"Where have you been?" My mum asked. I jumped and fell against the hallway wall.
"I was out with Kimi. We're headin' out of town for a few day ok mum? Just getting some stuff and we'll be on our way," I walked up the stairs and I felt mums eyes on me. I walked into my bedroom and grabbed a few pairs of jeans and whatever else I could find. I heard Nikie whistle. I ran into my little brother's rooms and said goodbye.
"Seeya mum," I kissed mum on the cheek and left. I walked out side and up to Nikie and Kimi.
"So Kimi can we use your car?" I asked. She gave me unsure look but agreed to do it.
"Mum, I'm going out of town for a few days ok. I love you and we're taking my car ok. I'll be back," Kimi and Nikie ran down their back stairs.
"Be careful. Love you," Kimi's mum yelled back.
"Come on. Where are we going Johnny?"
"Don't know. Maybe Sydney," I said. (note: this is set in Australia)
"Why the hell would we go there? What is there to see?" Nikie asked from the back seat. I looked in the review mirror. I sighed and looked at Kimi.
"Well I haven't figured that out yet, maybe see a concert or just do stuff," I answered.
"Sooner we get there the better. I hate driving," Kimi said.
"So do I but its gunna be good. Just us," I said.
"Hey can we go to Brisbane instead. And it's closer so its gunna be better, more time to do 'stuff'" Said Nikie. I looked up in the review. I sighed and decided to go to Brisbane instead.
"So, Its Brisbane then. Ok let's go," I got on the main road and drove off into the sun rise.
