For All In Love and Death., chapter 4

Nikie's POV

I looked out the window of the car. Trees and building went past in a blur. Kimi was asleep and Johnny was trying to stay awake by singing songs. Interesting way to stay awake.
"Hey Johnny. Wake up Kimi and tell her to drive. She's been asleep since we left," I suggested.
"Nah, I'll be fine for a few more hours. Don't worry." He drove around the bend and pulled up.
"What the hell are we doing?" I asked
"I'm going for a piss. Is that fine with you?" He snapped back. He walked into the bushes. I sat listening to System Of A Down and nodded of into a deep sleep.

"Nikie! Wake the fucj up!" Kimi was yelling. I opened my eyes.
"What the..."
"Don't worry, just get up and come with us." I got up and looked around. We were at a shopping center. No one was there, but why were we?
"Look, this Ben, he's security for the shop. He turned the cameras around so we can get food." Johnny whispered.
"Mad. So what are we getting?" I asked
"Ummmm... Food," Kimi answered. I looked up at the shops sign. It said 'Food For Thought'. I wandered about it for a while. Then followed Ben, Johnny, and Kimi into the shop.
"Hey dudes, this is a fruit and veggie shop. Why are we here?" I said confusingly.
"I'm a vegetarian. Duh. God you can be thick, Nikie." Kimi said sarcastically.
"Since when?"
"Since mum made that gross meat dish. Uhhh... It was so gross. And that's when I thought it was cool to become a veggie-head and be really healthy."
"Yeah, but you eat chicken and fish. What's up with that?"
"I eat fish and chicken because I'm not a full vegetarian. I don't eat red meat."
"How can you tell the difference?"
"Shut up Nikie, or I'll shove my fist down your throat." There was dead silence all around. I picked up what looked like a bag of chips and shoved it into Kimi's already full arms. I was first to brake the silence.
"Mmmmm, where are we going now?" I asked when we walked out of the shop.
"Maybe a bit further up the road. Tim rang and he's after us. He knows we're up here," Johnny answered. Kimi paused and pulled her phone out of her pocket.
"Hello? Who's this," she answered.
"Tim how do you have my number! Don't ever ring it again you sick bastard!" Kimi hung up the phone.
"He's really close to here. We'll need to find somewhere to stop off at," she jumped in the drivers seat and waited for me and Johnny to get in the car. Johnny sat in the front with Kimi and we drove off.
"So what do you plan we do. Sleep in the car and caught? We don't have enough money to stay in a hotel, so what are we doing?" Johnny sounded angry. But I guess he had a right. His mum's boyfriend was after him and he was stuck in the car with his ex girlfriend, now girlfriend and her best friend who hated him. Its has to be bad.
"No, we'll go to a local caravan park," Kimi sounded pissed as well. Her and Johnny weren't going good for their first day back together. But it's her own fault for taking him back. No one else's.

* Kimi's POV *

I drove up the turning hill. It wasn't long until we got to the caravan.
"Kimi, I'm sorry for getting shitty at you. It's not your fault. It's just Nikie really gets on my nerves and she just has to be everywhere with you. It's like you don't have a life," Johnny said in a sad voice.
"Well, it's not like she's going to any time soon." I smiled at the consideration in his voice. He smiled back and hugged me. For some reason Nikie's eyes burnt into the back of my head. I felt her watching our every move. Was she jealous? Or did she want me all to herself? I scowled at the thought.
"Hey Nikie, pass us a drink. I'm dying over here," I said. Her eyes lingered off us for a small second but jumped straight back on us afterwards.
"Here you go," she said. I didn't know if I felt safe anymore while she was around. I pulled back from Johnny's hug and sipped my drink. Johnny sat and ushered to do the same. Nikie sat in the back of the car. A little light shone from her hands.
"Hey Nikie, what's that light?" I asked.
"My phone," She answered. I stopped. My eyes suddenly felt wide open.
"Do you have credit?" I asked.
"Yep."
"You do! Nikie, you silly dog! We can get our ticket away from here. From this life. Do you even realize that we have a psycho copper after us and we are stuck in a caravan park with 5 buck each in our wallets and petrol to last us maybe one mile. Fifteen bucks isn't enough to get a full tank and keep running Nikie! God, you could've told me. We'd be further then here right now. Give me the phone Nikie, now!" I yelled. Nikie had a look of terror on her face. She handed over the phone but stayed very distant. I sat next Johnny again. I put my face in my hands.
"Are you ok babe?" Johnny asked. I said nothing.
"Well I think its time for sleeping. Nikie do you mind sleeping in the front?" Johnny asked.
"No," Nikie didn't bother arguing this time and pulled up a blanket.
"Come on babe. Tomorrow I have a surprise so you better get sleep." He kissed my forehead and jumped in the back of the car. I sat for a while and let the cold air beat my face.
