In The End It Doesn't Even Matter-Sequel To, "Tell Me Who You Love!", chapter 8

"Please Cassie, I haven't seen you in 3 months and it's killing me," Billie pleads down the phone.
"Adrienne. Does that name ring a bell Billie?" I ask into the phone.
"Look, I have a free house for a couple of days 'cus Adrienne has taken the kids away," He tries again.
"I have kids too, and Tre to think about!" I protest back. I hear him sigh down the phone, a signal of irritation.
"You're so stubborn," He grumbles.
"Yeah, and you of all people should know that by now," I laugh.
"Come on, you're always saying Tre needs to spend more time with your kids, so this is your chance. Let him take the kids for the weekend and come on down to mine."
I sigh. "Oh for fuck sake, you're never gonna back down are you?" I ask, starting to give in now.
"Nope," he says simply.
"Fine!" I agree. I hold the phone away from my ear slightly as I hear him whoop rather loudly.
"Ok, so come on down to my house tonight, whatever time," He finalises.
"Ok, see you then."
"Yeah, bye Cassie," he says before hanging up.
I sigh and chuck my phone on the bed stand, contemplating on what to say to Tre.

"Two whole days with 3 kids!" Tre moans.
"I'm sorry, work just called at the last minute and asked me to go down town to do a bit of work," I lie, feeling as if I'm going to puke with the amount of crap escaping my mouth.
He sighs and reaches over the table to grab my hand softly.
"It'll give you time to actually bond with Jack here," I say, balancing Jack on my knee.
He smiles and pulls a funny face in Jack's direction causing his lip to curl and to suddenly burst into tears.
Tre's face clouds over with sadness.
"You'll be fine," I reassure him.

I smile and wave goodbye, a rucksack in hand.
"I'll see you Monday," I call down the driveway to Tre and the kids as I shove my bag in the boot, a couple of hours later.
I sigh as I drive on down the road, guilt throbbing across my body. I try to shut out the screaming words in my head and turn up the radio, speading towards the house of the one and only... Billie.

***

A day had passed since I arrived at Billie's and all was well.
"Ow fuck," I groan, rubbing my head. I look at Billie and suddenly burst out laughing.
"I'm sorry Cassie," He laughs, picking up the picture that had fallen off the wall and dropped on my head when he had pushed me against the wall.
"All I wanted was a kiss," He pouts, putting hand on the wall either side of my shoulders so I'm trapped between him and the wall.
I look into his eyes, his lips so daringly close to mine. I lean foreward and kiss him softly, feeling his tongue almost immediatley beg for entrance into my mouth. I feel it slip in and pull him tighter to me, his hand wandering up the back of my legs, my skirt riding up in the process.

"An empty house. Just you and me. What could we possibly do?" He asks between kisses.
I break away and look at him, his t-shirt tight against his skin, almost calling for me to rip it off.
"Ravish me Billie," I whisper, almost so quietly I struggled to hear it. A small grin appears on his face and he sharply pulls me against him, turning round and backing up against the sofa, causing us to crash against the leather skin of the sofa.
I reach behind his back and slowly pull his top over his head, tossing it aside.
His lips come closer to mine but are suddenly sprung apart again when a smashing noise fills the room.

I quickly turn my head and see a familiar body standing in the doorway, eyes staring into mine. The eyes of pain.
