Wicked Wishes, chapter 14
Riot's P.O.V
When we walked into the waiting room David and Chadd's mom were already there. So were Mark and Bayzer with their parents. David nodded his head slightly at me and Billie.
We sat there for a few hours. I was so nervous the whole time. None of the doctors that passed us would look at us.
"David Murry?" A doctor that had walked over to us asked. "Can I speak with you?"
David nodded and lifted himself up out of his chair. He followed the doctor to the end of the hallway.
Oh shit. I thought. She's got to be ok. Please be ok Chadd.
Billie put his hand on my back,
"You ok?" He asked.
"Of course I am." I said even though I was no where near being ok.
"How did it happen?" I looked at Chadd's mom.
"All four of them were staying at Bayzer's cousin's house. Sony and Chadd borrowed his car and they ran a red light a car slammed into them. The driver of that car is ok."
The first time I saw Chadd I couldn't stop looking at her. The first time I talked to her I made a complete idiot out of myself. Yelling, "Hey I think I know you." will get someone's attention but not always the kind you want. Ill still never know why she actually helped me. I was stupid and in love with her the first time I saw her. I was also capable of making a complete idiot of myself when ever I opened my mouth around her. The first time I kissed her I never wanted to pull away from her. When I first told her I loved her and meant it I felt completely stupid the moment after I said it. But she said it back. Love can be the best thing in the world and also the worst. I never meant to drag her into all my problems. Me cutting and the reasons I cut were only supposed to be my business her finding out just made her worry about me. I loved everything about her. I had never told a girl I loved them. My last girl friend had said it to me many times but I never said it to her.
When David walked back down the hall way he glared at me. He turned to Billie.
"Can I talk to you?"
"Yeah."
About ten minuets later Billie walked back over to me.
"Do you want to see her?"
"Yes!" I stood up.
When I walked into the room I was petrified. She was hooked up to so many machines. Her face was black and blue and she had splotches of blood on it. Her arms were black and blue too.
I looked at Billie.
"She can hear you but she can't talk back. I'll wait out in the hallway." I sat down in the chair by the bed. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I wasn't sure what to say.
Chadd's P.O.V
I looked at Riot. You probably already know about it. I thought hoping to god he would understand. And you're mad at me for not telling you aren't you? I didn't know what you would do if I told you. Riot I was afraid. I started to cry.
"Chadd please don't cry." Riot knelt down by the edge of the bed. He ran his fingers through my hair and wiped away my tears.
"You'll get better and everything will be ok. I promise." He said taking my hand.
"Just don't cry Chadd. Please." I continued to cry. My whole body ached and I couldn't move.
<Riots P.O.V>
I hated seeing Chadd like this. She cried for along time. I could see she was in pain. I held her hand the whole time. She squeezed my hand as hard as she could which wasn't very hard at all just enough to let me know she had. I sat on the edge of the bed. I helped her sit up. I kept my arms wrapped around her because I knew she couldn't stay up her self. She weakly slung her arms around me. She buried her face in my neck.
"So sorry Ri." She whispered. "Don't go."
I kissed her on the cheek. "I won't."
She started to cry into my shoulder again.
"So sorry Ri." She whispered again.
I didn't understand what she was so sorry about. I wanted to ask her but she wouldn't be able to answer me. She started to cry harder.
"Don't go. Don't go. Don't go. Love you Ri. Stay with me."
"I love you to and I'm not going anywhere.
Billie walked into the room and watched me. I tried to stop her crying. I kissed her on the cheek again and looked up at him.
"I'm really sorry but we have to go. David and her mom want to see her."
"No. Stay." Chadd grabbed the back of my shirt. "You said you wouldn't go."
"I'm not going Chadd."
Five minuets passed and Chadd ended up crying herself to sleep. I laid her back down on the bed.
I stood up and followed Billie out the door. I looked over to where everyone was sitting. David glared at me again.
"What the hell is his problem!? Why does he keep looking at me like that!?" I started to walk over but Billie Grabbed my arm.
"I need to talk to you."

"No. Stay." Chadd grabbed the back of my shirt. "You said you wouldn't go."
"I'm not going Chadd."
