Bleeding, chapter 1
She was sitting at her desk in her bedroom. She was living with three men she didn't know. She was scared. It was only 2:00am. Her heart was thumping as she walked around in circles inside her room. She didn't know what to do, she had nothing else to do when she saw her grandfathers pocket knife dripping her blood on to the ground. She went to her bed, and slowly closed her eyes...
It was a wednesday morning, a sunny day, a bit cloudy. Shaney rubbed her eyes when the sun shone bright. Her quilt was covered in a wet, red substance, Shaney knew it wouldn't come off. Her legs tossed over the side of the bed and reached the ground, her hands were still rubbing her eyes. She got up and yawned as she streched her back. Shaney heard a deep voive calling her.
'Shaney!' the voice shouted faintly through the celing. That voice sounded familliar. Where had she heared it before? Shaney walked down the stairs and walked in to the living room. It had nice furniture. Cream sofas, a wide screen TV, a computer, chandeliers and white walls. She then saw a face. That face was familliar too. He had really blonde hair and a cute puppy-dog pair of eyes. But she wanted to recall the name.
'Morning Shaney' The man said.
'Hey...'said Shaney with a twitch in her eye. 'Who are you?' Shaney couldn't keep her eyes off that mans face, she needed to know who he was.
'Mike. You seem to have been a bit drunk last night so I let you sleep in the spare room' the man said. Mike! That was him! Mike Pritchard from high school!
'Mike Pritchard?! It's me! Shaney Louise Damon!' Shaney said as a smile spread across her face.
'Shaney Damon? Oh god, it is you!' Mike said, going to give Shaney a hug.
Shaney couldn't belive it, it was her best friend from high school! She hadn't seen him in years! She was so happy, she could cry....
